no! i am a muslim and my hubby aint rich but thanks to god! alhamdullah were not poor. usually u get the permission of the girls family and they will usually ask questions regarding money, job etc so they should know this in advanced, if u were rich and you married and you couldnt afford your wifes clothes food she does have the right to divorce you. these are greedy women though i love my hubby and wouldnt divorce him even if we lived in the street,

No. As long as the party agree with the dory doesn't need to be rich. My friend is a muslim man he married his cousin so he said he didn't need to give anything to the girl.

No, it is not true. The family can put on pressure though, just as in any marriage in any religion..
