My friend just split up with his wife, because he found out about her shady past after they were married. This was a classic bad girl pretending to be a good girl thing.
He loved her, but once he found out it ate him up.
Something similar also happened to me(I did not sleep with the girl, because of my beliefs, and we were'nt married), but i found out she had been promiscuous before she met me- that lifestyle disgusts me, and we split up after six months. this was a girl I met at the church.
I know half the people gonna say pasts don't matter, all I can say is you can have the people that sleep around, some of us just choose not to.
My question is, when is it appropriate to ask/ or a tactful way to find out before you get too into a relationship?
For you that think i am too judgemental- this is MY life. I look for a lifemate I can trust, and I feel sex is an addition as bad as any drug. Would you marry a drug addict?

A few family members did this. I have celebrated many occasions with them, but they neglected to even show their face at my engagement party (cook out=free food)! My invites had a section at the bottom: "if you can not make it, please call us". We did not get a call saying they wouldn't make it, or a call afterwards to say "sorry".

What would you do?

One of my friends will be married soon, and I have been invited to the ceremony. No one else thinks that it will be a good marriage. The groom has cheated so many times already and could not admit that he was engaged until the wedding was less than 20 days away...

Don't tell me that it's not my choice, that it's not my place to say something, etc. because I know that already. All I'm looking for is a way to postpone it so that perhaps it will be cancelled after being postponed several times more.

Oh, what if I offer to cook the cake, and "accidentally" burn it? Oh, I would burn it anyway with the way I cook...

So it was the day of the wedding. I was going to the restroom. I open the door and went toilet and there they were!!! Then they ran out and told me not to tell my uncle. Two month's after the wedding the feeling is still going threw my mind!! My uncle asked me about it at a party infront of everbody including my aunt and the best-man, was with his new wife. OK i liked him ever since my friend stayed on the phone wit her boyfriend all nite so i hung with him. Well we played video games and flirted the whole time alot of other things happened but then the next morning he was like "u know we was just playin last nite rite" and i was like ya. k so like a year ago i fell for my best friend of 2 years. then we started arguing and had been on and off friends. and then things got worse and all we did was fight. but then last night she imed me telling me about her situation with her exboyfriend and stuff. then we kept talking forl ike 5 hours and everything was going great. she never opens u to me but she did last night and it was amazing.so i thought things were finally turning around for us. but then today i talked to her bestfriend and she had told her that she was just talking to me to tell me the truth about it. i dont understand why she kept talking after we talked about her ex bf for 5 hours then and things went well. did she really wanna talk to me and be freinds again maybe or was she just using me?

I know people that went SOOO far out that NOW they're divorced and STILL making payments for the wedding...

my wedding cost the following: My $900 dollar plane trip to Brazil, I already had my own suit, R$185 ($86), 3 day honeymoon suite R$210 ($97), 3 x1-layer cakes R$96($45), 1 roundtrip and one 1 way ticket from Aracaju, SE to Sao Paulo, SP $180 (R$360-at that time)...food at wedding $R200,($100), 18 carat gold rings R$50 ($25)
grand total:
USD $1433

but..we were happy then..we're happier now! We HAVE upgraded our rings since then...but we still put more importance on our kids and our marriage than on material aspects ..even our upgrades were STILL under 1000 collectively...but are both beautiful...and yes her ring was much more expensive than mine..she just prefers our own happiness together than worrying about the size of an diamond.my gift to her is what she loves more and that is Vera Wang perfume which is plenty..but I LOVE getting it for her! She smells GREAT it!

we broke up 4 the second time cause he dropped his lil brother off and he went 2 the july 4th fireworks wif some other girl and i saw him when i was there with his lil brother and my friends. and now he says he was tryna play cause he thought i was cheating and it was a set up cause he thought i was playing him wif my best guy friend that he knows. so now we've been talking 4 like 5 hours decuising this and he came by the other day 2 give me an promise ring he bought 4 me and him silver with 5 lil diamonds and his name on the inside.

I have a crush on Brodie and he has a female friend who is jealous of me. She was flirting with him hugely. She's trying to provoke me. She teased me that she is going to marry Brodie. They aren't getting married. I got tired of her mess so I walked off and teasingly asked one of our other friends for his phone number. Then I walked up to his face and said how that girl gets on my nerves. That's when Brodie's jealous streak flew across the room. He said if I wanted that other guy, he is through with me. I walked right over to him and said I was joking. Anyway, he offered me a hug before I walked away. I didn't take it because he had also hugged miss jealous.

She feels bad because she had some personal issues in her life with her family. She was molested as a kid, & now she can't have kids. She led everyone to believe her youngest sister was her daughter because she wanted kids so bad. She just recently spilled her deepest secret to me that her ex-boyfriend took advantage of her mentally handicapped mom & got her pregnant twice. That was very difficult for her to confess because I understand how much it hurts her. & the only reason how it got out to everybody because her other friend told everyone, when no one was supposed to find out. So she admitted it to me & broke down. She feels like an idiot & feels like she doesn't deserve me as a friend. How can I show her that I still trust her & am not mad @ her? I'm really trying my best to be there for her, & she's going through a difficult time. Normally she tells me everything, but I understand why she felt bad about this one. She feels shame about her ex taking advantage of her mom.

This man is the Father of my child, He is also the HUSBAND of a innocent woman that did not and does not deserve to be treated the way He treats Her. I got involved with this Man about 2 1/2 years ago. Not knowing that he was married. He told me that he lived with a woman but they were no longer together.When I got pregnant I found out...There was a WIFE.*I was totally CRUSHED. (I'll admit he really had me fooled)He promised he would be supportive to my daughter, and begged me to keep *our situation* a secret. He started off a good father. But he just stopped supporting her. As soon as the support stopped. I called and made his wife aware! Now I'm the mother of his child, His Marriage and home is corrupted and My daughter is without a father.On top of that I recently put him on child support. Is this too harsh of a treatment? Was I wrong? Should I have given him more time to get back on track?? Help!!

my cousin borrowed $100 off me about a year ago, and said she would pay me back about 3 weeks after she borrowed it. i then moved 3 hours away and hadnt seen or spoken to her. so i forgot about that money. then about 3 months ago she rang and asked me to borrow $500 and she would give it back to me when she got her loan which was a week after. so i said she could give me back the $100 she owed me as well. well when she got her loan she said it didnt come through. (she is a compulsive liar) then she said she would pay me off $20 a week. she then came to visit and stole my sons $5! my 3 year old son. i no it was only $5.. but it was my sons, and now she hasnt even bothered to give me back the money. i live 3 hours away and i dont see her often. she was ment to be putting it into my account. what can i do to get her to give it back to me. it is really annoying me!

He got another job and works till like 8 everyday.. and this extra job is mostly to pay for modifying his car.. it makes me feel like he would rather spend time working to pay to make his car look better than to spend time with me.. and everytime we hang out after his work he leaves work like at 8 but then on other days hell leave like at 6.. but never that early for me..
but i hate pressuring him to come to my place because i live a half an hour away since he comes late and he has to wake up early the next day...
when we have a plan like him coming he cancels a lot or tells me hes coming later than he was planning because something comes up.. he seems to be sorry for all this and says hes worried im going cheat because he works too much... i dont no what to think...
he says he needs to pay his bills.and has a lot of responsibilities...
we used to have so much time together before he got his other job.. i miss it a lot...:-(i dont no if he will continue when college classes start again

Ok, I am getting married in a few months and I chose 6 Bridesmaids. One of the ones I chose I had known for a while now and only asked her because i felt obligated....the truth is im a pushover and picked her even though she is bitchy and rude....when it came time to get the dresses we all went to pay and she paid for half of hers. In the meantime we went out for her bday and she was rude and bitchy as usualy to me and my finace. I just stopped talking to her after that.

This is really my fault becuase I have always known she was like that and she didnt act any different...just this time i snapped.

My question is i DO NOT plan on her being in the wedding that is not an option...but since i am going to kick her out of it should i give her her money back for the dress???? I hadnt talked to her in months so i am sure she has gotten the picture but she might ask for her money....what do I do?

My mom is teaching me how to cook and I don't wanna learn! She said once I get the hang of cooking I'm gonna have to cook for her and my step-dad! It makes me so mad! >:-( I don't wanna tell her that I don't want to learn how to cook cuz if do.......she'll ground me for a long time and I'll still have to cook for her!
