If u have an arranged marriage, it's not just between u and ur mate, it's more between the two families, because at any time before marriage, either u, ur family, they, or their family can call off the arrangement right? Then afterward, the families have the right to involve themselves in the life of u and ur mate until they or u die right? If this is so, y do so many say that it is a marriage between me and my mate? No it isn't, instead of having two parents, i have four! Instead of having the number of relatives I have...now they're exponentially multiplied! It was hard enough getting along with all these ppl when I was single..and now, married, there's more of them? I know when I got married, it was families marrying each other...but I can't help but buy into the belief that the marriage is solely between me and my husband! Is this true? I only ask because at times ppl tell me what to do, and get pissed when i ignore them...they follow me around wondering y I didn't do as said......

my wife filed for divorce, even though she cheated on me, but the best deal on custody she is offering me is to pick one of the children to live with me, she only did this because our kids arn't close at all, and barely speak to each other. but i feel like i can't pick which one i want to live with me, does anyone have any suggestions?

Hi guys, this question is for you! thanks in advance for your help! I am a good looking (people say) girl and I recently met a guy. We spent a few great days and the sex was amazing and we also seemed to have a great connection, seriously. Then the last 2 days we were together he became a bit distant, and then he has just emailed me sporadically, and when i emailed him asking him what was up, and asked him to "not leave me hanging" (long but very nice email) and I also texted him, he replied in a short email that he had been very busy and "could not answer all my email and text messages as fast as I wanted to" then he added that it was "not necessary for me to email him back" because he would email me a "proper email" when he got a chance that same day or the next, but 4 days went by and no response. Did I mess up by sending him that "long nice email" asking him to open up to me, or was he just not into me from a while back when he started withdrawing those last 2 days? Guys help!!!!!!

I have been seeing this guy for 3 months, On the second date I slept with him cos it felt right anyways he sent me a msg the other night saying "hey just letting ya know im thinking of ya and I miss you already".
The question is if a guy is still around after 3 months and is really affectionate and caring that it is more than sex to him seeing I was with him so soon?

I found out that my ex has started dating someone else.
and she's head over heels in love with him. And she's telling everyone how cute "Paul as in her new boyfriend" brothers were on the phone. When they asked oh your pauls girlfriend ect. Then i messeged her and said a few things none of them were mean so don't worry. But then she tell's me, I don't have feelings for you anymore. it's just that we Fight way too much when we're together and after that I felt depressed and I just left. Then she messeges me and still wants to talk to eachother, and be friends..
And i just can't take it being friends with her now, I need time..
So if she talks to me tonight, What should I say?

I am to be married October 2008. My husband to be and I have already informed our wedding parties. His best man, was not only his best friend but mine as well, unitl he started dating a new woman, we shall call her bXXXh.

He grew more distant, understandable for a new relationship but than he started to lash out. He would pick fights with me about anything, even if I agreed with him.

My patience was wearing thin until I heard the news. I was told by more than one person that he and bXXXh were not only talking about us behind our backs but also telling anyone who would listen that OUR MARRIAGE IS GOING TO FAIL. These were not his thoughts orginally unitl she entered the picture.

SO in basic WHAT should I do? I don't want him in our wedding, or signing our marriage certificate. I don't think this unreasonable. My fianice wants to wait out their relationship. I think we should tell him to shove off and stop taking his bad relationship out on us.

ANY ADVICE WOULD BE GREAT!

i have a friend who is married to a cop. Her Uncle passed away on Monday and Tuesday he left telling her he wanted a divorce. What a nut. But, I want to help her so much and have never dealt with this before with any of my friends. I don't want to over do my support and sound like a complete nut either. I am 35 divorced for 2 years now. I think Im a relitivly attractive looking woman. I do have 3 kids. But all I seem to find is men looking for a casual/sexual affair.

I saw a lady on Bridezillas who had the most beautiful bouquet and it looked like it was made entirely out of ribbon. Dos anyone have a picture of something like that? My daughter is allergic to flowers so we were going to do silk but we both just fell in love with this bouquet. It was very elegant looking, not just a giant bow.... Thanks
