infant is a baby that cannot crawl or walk- when they can walk, they are considered a toddler- usually at age 2 they are toddlers.

Infant is age from 0 month when they're born to 1 year old. A toddler is after that. I guess.

I believe that infants are usually called that until aroung Age 1. Two year olds are always called toddlers. Most babies begin to walk around one year old.
