I have a question about mailing a letter to a friend?

I dont mail very many letters....so Im not sure what kind of stamps i need to mail a certain letter....Im goin to Myrtle beach for a week and I want to mail a few letters to a friend in North Carolina...itll be a standard size letter...so wat kind of stamps do i need in order to mail the letters?..and by wat kind i mean do i need 2cents 5 cents...so on and so forth

i think postage now is what 43 cents? go to the post office they can tell you what amount you need
