Well the longer you hate her the longer you'll feel pain. Just because you forgive her doesn't mean you condone what she did. Like Oprah said "hating someone is like drinking the poison but wishing they would die." You eats you up inside and doesn't do anyone any good. So being the bigger person can help to mend your animosity, then soon you'll forget all about her.

love not all woman like to be said Hi!..mostly it's better not to talk esp. if the situation is like yours. Your ex girlfriend lost something and that is you so don't listen to those people that told you, next time you see her, just say hi!....none sense to me love. There's a lot of fish in the ocean and a lot more better that that person that broke your heart....walk with your head up and move on cause she's the looser!!

By saying "hi" makes you sound like a better person. There is nothing more pathetic then someone who is so bitter that they aren't afraid to show it. The best revenge you can get is to move on with your life and be happy. Give her a reason to be suspicious of your smile!

Well you want to be the bigger person here, dont you???
Yeah she hurt you, yeah you have anger towards her, but after you spit in her face so to speak, you will look back and regret giving her the satisfaction of knowing you still care!!!
So be mature, say hi and walk on, this will be more effective than abusing her.
KEEP YOUR FRIENDS CLOSE, AND YOU ENEMIES CLOSER.

By greeting her pleasantly and saying Hi you are telling her 'I am OK and happy without you.' If you spit in her face then she knows you are still pissed and bitter. Don't give her the satisfaction.
Ladies and Gentlemen, this works both ways!!

Excuse me? I've never heard anything so silly as telling someone to say "hi" to the person who broke up with them...are you getting dating advice from 12 yr olds?
What you should do is distance yourself from her until the pain subsides...in Time (if you allow it) your heart will heal.

acting like a jerk only proves that you really are a jerk. And one day when you grow up, you'll regret being such a mentally unhealthy dipwad. Nothing shows face, like acting like it was the best thing that ever happened to you. Besides hate only brings you down, forgive and you'll be healthier for it.

I think that by saying 'hi' shows that you have gotten over her and you don't want to make her feel important to think that you are bitter.
The best thing about always saying 'hi' is that one day when you have a new woman on your arm you can say 'hi' to her and even introduce your new girlfriend.

i remember your question and I'm one of the ones that said to say "hi" in a cool calm manner ONLY if she greets you first. Don't show her any importance by saying hello first or by brushing her greeting off with a huff. Always keep your cool...it's admirable

just to keep things friendly, that's all. you don't even have to be sincere. really just because it's a small world and you're bound to run into her, and you don't want it to be so you have to turn the other way when you see her.
