Depends on how you guys broke up. I would say you don't have to if it means something to you or if you think he would've liked for you to keep it. If you guys ended your relationship on bad terms then I'd try to get rid of his stuff. Just because you don't need those negative vibes in your life and they can bring back unpleasant memories, preventing you from moving on.

Hummm first ask your self this question.. Do these items cause you pain is some way bring back memories that you don't want or need if so then give em back or toss em away. Then again if the give you good memories then keep em cause there is no price for a peace of mind . He he but if you ask me i would drop the shirt and the stuff animal and pawn the jewelry

Give him back his stuff..but keep the gifts. Unless the ring and/or necklace had some attachment meaning to them...like an engagement ring or promise ring.

As far as I'm concerned, you don't have to give back gifts, no. Those are yours to do whatever you want with. But, if you're talking about CDs or other junk and belongings he left at your house at some point in the relationship, those you should give back.

No you do not have to, they were gifts to you. It may be nice of you to give back the jewelery if it was expensive. You can however keep it if you like. Do not give back everything then it looks like you don't or ever did care for him at all. I mean you do want some memories.

Good question! I have mixed feelings on this one. Possession is 9/10th of the law. BUT ,For what ever reasons you broke up. If it causes more unwanted contact for you or him. Then the gifts are not doing anyone any good and it's not the gifts he wants back or you can't let go. If he asked for them give it back if he don't keep them. ......

by law the only thing you have to give back is an engagement ring because it a conditional gift.

first of all, i dont think that he would want a ring or necklace, but if he says he wants them back you should give them back.. you dont have to give any of that stuff back to him unless he asks.... also you dont have to keep that stuff if it makes you upset

You don't have to give anything back but why would you keep his shirt? That I would definitely give back, if he asked for it. Otherwise the rest is yours to keep.
