So my sister in law and I were talking about this and neither of us could decide what we thought about this.

Say you have a bride that has been married and divorced, but she is now marrying a man who has never been married before. Should they have the big wedding or not?

I know that I personally feel that every 1st time bride deserves the big wedding of her dreams no matter how many times the groom has been married, but I am not sure how I feel if its the grooms first time and not the brides. I know in my head it seems like a double standard and that the groom should get the big wedding (I'm sure his parents have dreamed about it as well), but something just seems off about it to me, I guess because I am not a fan of women repeating that wedding all over again. Its confusing and conflicting.

I'm wondering what all of you think about this kind of situation because I just cant decide and would like to hear others viewpoints.

i am a jealous person and i easily get jealous its because i love my husband and then i also asked my husband if he also feel any jealousy but he answered NO because he trusts me in everything.i hate everytime he tell me that way because i want him to get jealous to feel his love for me but it doesnt mean that my husband dont love me.. of course i know that he loves me but i just want to feel that he is jealous with something..and also, i asked him also that are there some things he dont want me to do or the things he will get angry if i do this etc..,and he answered me that i am free to do anything,no dos and donts,he wont stop me with whatever i want to do!!my gosh!i cant believe it ,is it normal?i may think that he dont love me nor care about me but his reason is that he loves me and trusts me with all his heart and he knows that i wont do anything bad that could destroy our relationship, that i think only for the best! but is it really normal?is that really called love?

In class I was put next to this guy, first he would look at me and ask questions, poke me with his pencil, then he started to tap me. When I got up he would stop and stare. We started to talk and became friends. We sometimes argued about things I would move my desk away from him and he would be right next to me. One day he and his friend were talking about the girl who his friend liked and then his friend asked my guy a question and he jerked his thumb toward me his friend kept staring at us and smiled, came up and asked me how I was so smart. He would grab my hand, try to walk with me out of class, try to impress me, steal my stuff when I was in the bathroom, put his arm over mine. Made comments about how we complete each other. Before winter break asked me if I liked him, but I didn’t answer because I was so stunned.
I wrote him a note saying that I did, and I made it clear. He called to ask what I was saying yes to. Said HE DID NOT RECALL ASKING ANYONE THAT QUESTION also said I WAS A NICE GIRL AND HE WOULD LIKE TO CONTINUE THE RELATIONSHIP WE HAD.
He stares at me and looks up when someone says my name. When I hug one of my guy friends he stares and stares/ gets jealous. When I buy my cookie during lunch his friends tell him and he turns around to look at me. When I walk by during class his friends are like "dude stop starting at her.” When I say his name he looks at me as if he is really happy and excited and if I say something vague, he gets disappointed, he goes out of his way to talk to me and ask me questions. I told his friend that I was going to try to give up and she just kept telling me that he was just not ready for a relationship because they talked about me for a while. When he is talking to a group of people he looks only at me, intensely.
He told my friend that he would rather “JUST BE FRIENDS”, but she said he said she should not say anything, and she does not break promises, no matter what, but she keeps telling me to call/hangout with him…
But his friends, keep telling me that he likes me, that he is just shy and nervous…
we've known each other for two years...but last year he was just annoying

Ive been dating this great guy for nearly 2months and today Ive told him I wont be able to see him for 3weeks due to work and a 2week holiday. He sent me a txt message saying I should do my best and quote 'Maybe I'll speak to you after, Take care x'. So what does this mean is it over because I'll be gone for 3weeks or am I overreacting?

I thought it was funny. I grew up watching Married With Children and thought the shirt was hilarious. Unfortunately, my wife thinks it is degrading against women and means I don't love her??? What is your take on it? I still think she is being overly sensitive. I told her it was a joke and I would not wear it around her... Never thought a shirt would cause so much crap.

I recently discovered that my boyfriend has been chatting online with other women and sometimes meeting them for coffee, etc. I don't have a problem with him having female friends, as we don't live very close in proximity. However, I have found some of these chats/emails extremely sexual in nature, but not with the girls that I am aware he has actually met in person. Even though some of the girls he talks to sexually, he has asked to meet, I don't see any evidence that he has actually met them. Should I confront him about this? If so, how do I explain how I know about it without giving up my secret?

I am getting a little sick of doing all the work to get a girl. I would like to be pursued for once. Why is it so hard for a woman to pursue a man? To let him know she's got her eye on him? Granted we are in the animal kingdom and like most animals we do "mating rituals" to attract females; i.e. flirt with them, compliments, act like fools to impress, etc. Anyone?

Its a complex relationship. We r good friends, ive really liked him for over a year, and he likes me but doesnt want to go out with me. He doesnt like me as much as i like him. He likes me as he would his sisters.

So, after over a year of sleeping over, we finaly get down to it. He started it, but ive wanted 2 for ages so was only happy to oblige. So there we have it, we are going away, but then as we change positions, he cant get it up anymore. He said he didnt know why, as it had never happened wit any other girls before.

Is it guilt with sleeping with a girl he knows is obsessed with him but doesnt have the same feelings for? Was it performance nerves due to the fact he knew i really liked him? Its certainly not medical if it hasnt happened with any other girl?

I am only 19 and he is only 20, and it wasnt either of our first times and have both never came across this happening before.

Although these answers will not change my opinion, I just wanted to see what others thought.
I am 18, my boyfriend is 20. He hasn't proposed yet but we have been together for 3 years and have started planning our wedding. We are both very excited...
We even have the date picked out (for 2009)

I know to most people, 20 years old sounds too young for someone to get married but I would like to know other peoples opinions. Please remember that we have been together for 3 years already...and we've been through it ALL (trust me..)

Thanks! :)

ok...so we were having the most romantic weekend till i jumped on the computer to check something and a porn link came up on the history. i got really upset because the least he could do is hide it and make sure it isnt where i can find it (i've told him this in the past) because although i understand men like to look at this stuff...i have an insecurity problem (which i fully admit and try my hardest to work on). anyways he apologized. i forgive him but now i feel really uncomfortable having sex. i usually love to have sex. but we tried doing it yesterday and the whole time i just kept thinking in my head "do i look fat, am i doing this right? do i look as good as the computer chicks?". i couldnt enjoy myself at all. i feel so inadequate. he assures me that he thinks im the most beautiful girl in the world but i still feel ugly compared to those porn girls. how can i make myself feel confident and enjoy sex again?

My boyfriend (of 7 yrs) had problems in the 1st couple yrs.We were young, he cheated & didnt take the relationship seriously at the time-however we been through a lot & matured extremely & now things are really great with us. We have two boys 6 & 1 yr. he had a daughter by a girl he cheated on me with. We split up 3 times during 7 yrs (the last time was last june) every time he would go stay with the girl he had the kid by & she ended up pregnant again-which he just had a paternity test done for this child. The girl is psychotic and drinks and plays games using the kids against my fiance. She wont let him see them & then she will, then will say he doesnt do anything for them, then she will ignore his calls, then she will flip out and start pranking us or damage our property, then she will say he can see them only if its at her house.she is always using these kids as tools against him.He is having a hard time being a dad to the kids & cant afford a lawyer-what is the best thing to do?

I plan on asking my crush out. The only thing is that last week I found out that he has a 6 year old daughter. I'm completely fine with that. I met her on Saturday and she is a gorgeous and very sweet little girl. She's in town visiting her father for the next 3 weeks, so more than likely he will have to bring her on our date/get-together. Can someone help me with some ideas as to what the 3 of us can do if the little girl has to come? The most obvious choice would be the park, but I want to do something a little more fun.

so me and my girlfriend have been maintaining a long distance relationship for about 7 or 8 months now (i've lost track because I haven't seen her in so long :[ ) and I've noticed something. Everytime I call her she seems a little more distant than when we're together, which she is obviously, but it can get very frustrating when I really want to talk to her and she cuts my phonecalls off at like, 10 or 15 minutes, sometimes even less. I love her to death, I know she loves me and I completely 100% trust her. I'm just wondering if there is anything I should be trying to do between now and when she comes back in like 2 weeks. Any advice on how to really pull her into a conversation? what should I talk about with her.. I'm just afraid I'm boring her on the phone. Thanks guys!

Im 14 y/o and when i was 7, i watched my brother lose his temper and basicazlly slice my mums arm open, she still has the scar. My brothwer was always very violent, even threatened to kill me once, but thankfully he moved out. But the thing is, everyone else seems to have gotten over the knife thing, but i havent. Im scared of being near anyone holding a knife near me. I havent told my family about this, what should i do? ignore it like other fears or sshould i do something? I feel pretty stupid asking this now, but oh well..

If you have read any of my posts then you know that we have some serious marriage issues. He has cheated twice, has a porn addiction (although he says he has not viewed any porn in a few months) and he lies about the simplest things. Also, he feels that I should have taken the time I needed to get over the infedelity incident before asking him to come home and try to work things out. Another huge issue is that he feels that he should be able to stay out late with his single and married friends and do whatever as long as he's not messing with other women. He said me wanting to set guidelines in the marriage is only an effort to control him. Everything I do, he accuses me of trying to control him. So yesterday I asked my mom to try to talk to him since I can't seem to get through to him. She talked to him face to face and she did not point fingers at him directly. She basically told him we need to go see a counselor to help us. He told her he doesn't believe in counselors.
