well i have this cousin, we have been really close since were little but ever since she started hanging out with the lil ho3s form her skool, and with guys dat smoke and does all dat bad stuff, she has really change i mean i do miss her lots!!and ive tried talkin to her, but she dont listen, ive been hearing alot of things about her, like dat she isnt a virgin anymore and shes doing drugs, i know they just rumors but this rumors come from her friends so i dont know if to believe them or not??i mean my cousin is only 13, i dont know what to do anymore... any advice???

So many people I know or have met in my life seem to live their whole lives in the tradition of their parents, got married because their parents expected them to, chose a certain profession because their parents wanted it for them, had kids because their parents wanted grandchildren, etc...? Do you think that it we "owe" our parents. I can see if they foot the bill for college and afterwards the kid just lays around and does nothing (unless the kid didn't want to go to college). But don't you think it is the parents' responsibility to raise us, provide for us, until we are of legal age, without expecting anything in return.

My intended and I are successful professionals in our early-mid 30's. Between the two of us, we have everything we need or want for our house, and we are very comfortable financially. As such, we do not want our friends and family to feel obligated to spend money on us or buy us presents that we really don't need. (Of course, if someone decides to give us a gift, we will graciously accept it.)

We just want our friends and loved ones to know that the only thing we want from them is to come celebrate the occasion with us and have a good time. What is the most appropriate way to let people know how we feel?

I always wonder if my brother who is 26 moved out into a apartment and had an extra room. He always says I could move in with him. I'm 13 years old and he knows that my mom is no good. She brings him and I to tears and stress. Would he ever be able to have custody of me if he had an apartment? He has his own child and a girlfirend,also.

And your fiance knew this... but went ahead and got a snake, would you be really upset with him/her?

I told my fiance that since we're moving in two months, he could get it, but AT THAT TIME. Not before! I don't want to see the dang thing, and I seriously get panic attacks around snakes.

And the part that ticked me off the most, is that he bought it, and took it to his friend's place and didn't tell me about it until after dinner, and when we got to his friend's place last night, he gave me a kiss, told me how beautiful I was, and that he bought the d*** snake.

If you had a phobia, or just plain FEAR of something, would you be upset, like I am??? Or am I over-reacting?

ok there is this guy who has done numerous things to me. we both attend the same highschool and are both incomong juniors. i am pretty new at school, like a year. Neways, he has thrown paper airplanes at me, poked me in the back then pretended it wasn't him but when his friend did it he defended me, called me a name that my friends call me, buts into my conversations on occasion, makes fun of my idea of getting a moped, said hi to me at a dance then jokingly tried dancing all sexual on me, sat right in front of me when we didn't have assigned seats for class, held the door open for me all politely then ran away at the last minute, called me a honey, and told my brother that he was going to trip me, and screamed across the room that his friend liked me. they were fighting after this. as u can c, alot of crazy stuff happened with this kid. From all this stuff, my friends came to the conclusion that he liked me. FROM THIS, DOES IT SOUND LIKE HE LIEKS ME? neways, i cant figure it out!

I feel like my husband is a diiferent person when he's around me. I see when he's around his friends and coworkers, and he has a good time and he has a ton of stories to talk about. But when he is alone with me....he never has anything much to say. I try to show that I'm also intrested in what he has to say, but it just dosen't work. I love playing video games! I remember i was about 12 and i started playing draken of the acients' gates and i couldn't stop! After that they didn't make amazing games, but i always liked to play a game. It's not that embarassing if you think about it, but i'm a girl and in my town most guys only play games and hang out and talk about their stradagies. is it rude to have my wedding in the afternoon. I'm thinking around 12 or 1. i want to cut down on some of the cost and i would also like to make reservations at a restaurant for just me and my Fiance for a late dinner just so we can be alone for a bit on our special day. most of the guest will be from out of town that is why i'm wondering if it's rude. the furthest person will be able 4 hours away. i figure that it will also save my guest money since they can drive there and back in the same day. i figure some will still stay because they drank too much or don't want to drive at night but if they wanted to save money they could drive home. anyways i plan on feeding them sandwiches and chicken with several side options and a salad of some sort and of course cake and alcohol. does that sound reasonable?

Lately our marriage has been running on a short fuse, it's like anything could spark a fire, I hardly talk to him since I can sense an argument if I make a mistake, I feel like I'm going crazy, I became so afraid of him, last month we argued, he put his hand on my neck( it was the first time he did anything like that) Yesterday, I caught him in a bad moment, he barked at me like a mad animal. We stayed in a different room at night because, he complains I rolled around too much on the bed. It feels like I'm going to step on a time bomb when I'm around him, since he picks on every details.
What do you do in your marriage if you feel like you need a break?

Anyways, my fiance and I are in a disagreement. This whole time I've been planning the wedding (for the past 18 months), he's not said a word and that it was all up to me to do what I wanted.

Now, he found out from guys at work that since I'm Catholic, he's not, and we're having an inter-faith ceremony, he's worried about meeting with the priest in the next week or two. And he especially doesn't want to sign any paperwork, stating that we will raise our children catholic, but I don't find a problem in it, because I still go to church.

He said that he was going to refuse to sign that paper. I'm concerned we won't be able to get married in the church if he won't.

My question is that a couple of people here at work had Catholic/interfaith marriages this past year. Some said they had to sign the paper, some say they didn't. Did you have to? And did your fiances have problems with signing it?
