i've recently been catching up with lots of people from school and 1 of the only people i haven't seen around or been able to get hold of is an ex (well i say an ex but we were 13 & together for about 6 months!)....so i wrote a card inviting him (& his partner) to a party i am having in the next few weeks.the card was only friendly & just said something along the lines of 'hi, havent seen you for ages & just wanted to say hi...im having a party in the next few weeks & id really like to get some old friends together if youd like to come. bring your wife/girlfriend. either way it would be nice to hear from you. give me a text or an email' & i gave him my email address & mob no.

well....i got an email from someone in his family saying that the guy in question and his wife didnt want any contact from me and that they would appreciate it if i left them alone as they are married and kids!

i feel so stupid but also feel like they have acted a tad over the top. what do u think?

I am 18 never had a girlfriend or even my first kiss, never been on a date. I am 5'9" 145 pounds athletic/built, just smaller frame and 4% body fat. I am a nice guy, outside of the boxing ring. I am kind and respectful. I can have fun doing just about anything and like to party. I am pretty smart, going to college this fall and always had pretty good grades in highschool. I dont believe I am ugly, maybe alittle young looking for my age but not ugly. I love pretty much all sports, but boxing is what I mostly do now a days. I just dont get why girls have never found me attractive, I had not really noticed until my friends all had girlfriends and I didnt and I think they think I am weird or gay which I am not. I am just really shy and never could ask any of my crushes out, but they didnt seem to like me that much anyways, so I think I am just gonna give up on love and just ignore girls cuz they never showed any interest in me so why should I.

We've been together for 2 and half years and met at our workplace, the place we worked closed down and we all got made redundant in May. Since then we've both had the stress of looking for another job. He's now been in his new job for 5 weeks and he enjoys it buit its hard work, he told me that he doesn't know if he has time for a relationship anymore because he wants time on his own to go to gym and see his friends too, which i've never stopped him doing. It's so hard for me to give him the space cos i miss him loads, but i have done. I sent him a letter talking about good times we have to see if that'll make him change his mind about how he's feeling which he'll get today. I'm so scared of losing him and don't know what to do. Help!

Me and my man have been together for almost 3 yrs. When we first got together I got the impression from our conversations that he would want to marry me and have children. Now he dosn't want to. He says things like what would be different than things are now other than a piece of paper on the wall. I told him that marriage is more than a piece of paper on the wall, but its a committment between us and God. He seemed to agree, but dosn't want to talk about it. He has known from the begining that was what I wanted and I have even argued the point then why did you fall in love with me if you were not willing for us to be a family. He has been married before and already has 3 kids whom I love dearly, but then again they aren't "mine". If any of ya'll have advice or have been in the same situation could ya possibly help me out here or give me some advice.

My boyfriend has a wealthy grandmother who has put 50,000 dollars in a bank account of his in france, but he has made a commitment that he would not touch the money until retirement, or until he had kids.

We live thousands of miles apart and visit one another every 3 monthes. I've been saying I'd like to move in together with him but he keeps saying he's not ready to do it and he doesn't have the money. I feel like if he took money out of the bank account he'd have the money to split rent with me and we could be together more time. Am I being selfish?

I am an male 'older' divorced (7 years) single parent with two school age children (13 and 15) living with me. I have worked like hell to pay of the mortagage on my house (worth about £150,000) and consequently have nothing else - not even a pension plan. My idea is that this is the childrens inheritance and security. (If they want, they could sell it to pay for their education - whatever). How can I protect this house from the ambitions of my ex-wife and her partner (they own two houses) so that my kids can benefit.? Creative and unusual ideas are welcome too.
Lets assume that my position is correct when I say that my gold-digging ex is morally not entitled to benefit from this house, which is mine. The deeds are solely in my name, and in 13 years I paid everything from the mortgage to the milk bill, whilst my ex conducted her (private) financial affairs (debts) from her mothers address. I was buying the house before I met her. She has a new partner and a child.

so this girl she works at wal-mart, and she is a night stalker. As soon as I saw her I knew there was something about her, I dig her. She is a cute chick. Anyways, I shop there frequently so I see her maybe once a week, sometimes twice, but i think i've spoken to her once, but, usually everytime she sees me she kinda freaks out like she gets all nervous, but Ive seen her looking at me though, like the other day I was there with some friends looking at some t shirts and it was almost instant (she was pulling a cart with stuff in it) she stopped in her tracks and I could see her staring at me, then I look at her and she looks all nervous and flustered then she starts to mess with a little radio she has to listen to music with. think she is shy?, but if she is, why is a pretty girl like her shy? All of my grandparents are gone, most of all my loved ones, except for my parents, my aunts and uncles, and brothers and sisters. The thing is, I dont think that most of them like me. I know my mom and dad love me, they just never want to play out side with me? I dont see my brothers and sister much, because they dont live here, but when I do see them, it seems like they dont want anything to do with me? The only aunt and uncle who actualy care about me, live away, the rest never call for anything, not even special occasions, and when I do see them, its in the store, and all they say is "Oh look how big shes getting." I have an adopted grandmother that goes to my church, and other then my parents, well I love her a lot, and shes done more than most of my family (other than my parents) have ever done for me, and shes only known me for about 2 years, and I love her sooo much, but am I doing something wrong? I've invited them to church, and they get mad, would that be the proublem??

For years about the last 10 years now,lol
when ever I’m angry or upset about whatever, instead if expressing these feelings I’ve been suppressing them
One reason is the embarrassment of being out in a public place (not wanting to draw attention to myself)
And it’s the same when I’m angry people know when your angry hey, maybe it’s the negative energy or something.

Anyway the other day I was at work and there was a song on the radio
As I was listening to it I started to get really emotional, so much that I felt like crying not because of the song but because it reminded me of something I went through in the past
Usually when I’m in this state I start praying hoping that what ever is causing it will go and it usually does, but that afternoon when I got home I tried thinking about it to cry it out but it was gone.

How many of you out there have gone through this?
What do you do to stop yourself from suppressing these feelings?
I guess nobody wants to be seen out in public crying especially if you’re a guy
But like how do you express it when your not in public…what can you do to stop yourself from suppressing these feelings…is it best to just cry or yell it out or what?

(Does anyone get me)

sense I got was she felt, "Enough is enough". I was to wait to hear the news from others in the "real world". As I sat on a couch waiting I wondered how he died and then saw a DR.'s report on a test of his stomach - something orange "floating" in it. Then I wondered how I was going to tell our daughters knowing they would be devistated. I also felt a sense of "It's finally over". - My ex husband has a bad temper had has been abusive in many ways. His unfaithfulness and lying has literally changed me. I don't feel good about myself at all. He's made passes at my friends.... slept with women I wouldn't touch with other men's penises. okay see theres thius school that goes year round called lifeskills and i went threw hell to buy i new birth certificate and i got my id and social card...but now the school says i still need my mom to go down and sign the papers to enroll me ive been bugging my mom before i even got the birth certificate to help me and she wouldnt so i got it on my own after it took forever and hell...now she wont even go down there to sign a paper ??? i have no clue what her problem is shes allways like this i really really really want to get back in school so i can get a good job..but she wont help me..i asked the school if i could bring the papers to her then take them back to them signed but they said no because they need to see thats its my reall mom signing the papers i fight all night begging her to go down there with me but she just wont help....i beg her till sshe gets mad and threatens to kick me out of her house which shes done before and i just go to my room and leave it at that..

I need suggestions on how to get my brother out of a horrible relationship. He is living with his gf who has been on so many antidepressant drugs (lexapro right now). She is on and off them. She takes pain drugs and everything else she can get a prescription for, drinks lots. She's not really crazy enough to need those drugs. She just sits on the couch during the day. She can function just fine but will not take care of her 4 kids (16,12,8,4). He has taken it upon himself to take care of them all (gf is 35 he is 30). She is always threatening to kill herself if he were "to leave", and has hit him before. When we talk to him about it he kinda breaks down maybe a tear or two. We want her out of his life because she is toxic.. she has ruined any self esteem that he did have and ruined any self-confidence that he had. Its just bad all around... How can we get him out forever.... They have been together for almost 4 yrs now. HELP US!

We have been together for 6 years and he has the worst habit of cancelling our plans!!! So here is whats up, he live two hours away from me and we have been working this out this way for 4 out of the 6 years. OK after work on saturday I went to a restaurant, one of my regulars and just sat down. They had seated me in the loner corner, I was by myself. I made some out loud comment, like my usual self and a guy sitting by himself said I could join him if I liked. I accepted and we spent therest of our dinner just chillin and talking. He was moving and couldn't get his surround sound to work and knowing now that I was a DJ, I assume thats why he asked my help. I followed him to his appartment in my car and tried to help. It was hopeless. We just hung out and talk. We played chess and just hung. Someone from his home town lived beneth his new apartment and she came up to say hey and invite us down (she's engaged and not a factor is this problem). He told me he was really a keep to himself kinda guy. It never seemed like he was lying and he made no moves on me. He is six year older than I and thus has been around a lto more. He is different, but I'm not sure what to think... Help!
