sense I got was she felt, "Enough is enough". I was to wait to hear the news from others in the "real world". As I sat on a couch waiting I wondered how he died and then saw a DR.'s report on a test of his stomach - something orange "floating" in it. Then I wondered how I was going to tell our daughters knowing they would be devistated. I also felt a sense of "It's finally over". - My ex husband has a bad temper had has been abusive in many ways. However, he has not flown off the handle in a while, so I don't know why I would dream this. We have been apart for almost 3 years. What does this mean? It has been bothering me all day?

Usually death means a new beginning - which kind of goes with the theme. I wondered what orange signified because the dream was gray except for that color. And the fact that my Mom brought the message made me wonder.

Barbi - Sorry I didn't see your answer before. ... I'm so sorry for your loss. I hope and pray that your heart heals and that you can find peace in your near future. Loss is so hard. I lost my Dad on Christmas Day (2006) I know that ache ... but can't imagine it being my mate.

Sometimes death in dreams is not literal. It could mean that your love and commitment for him is finally laid to rest. The appearance of your mother as the messenger could mean that you realize that you finally being emotionally resolved from the situation would indeed make her feel that "enough was enough." You might also subconsciously fear that your daughters would be devastated to learn that you don't love your ex "like THAT" anymore, and that there is no chance of resurrecting the relationship. All in all, maybe you are finally moving on. Sometimes our psyche just needs to resolve these things even if we feel like we are/aren't ready for it in our waking lives. I don't know tons of the background on your situation, but I do know just a tiny bit about dreams. Hope this helps.

I pray that this dream isn't a warning....This is really hard for me..My fiance' died Dec.17.2007.. of a brain anuryrem. He was only 28.. We just had twin boys 8 mnths before his death,we also had a 3 yr old daughter who wittnessed his death, also i had a child from a previous marriage that my fiance' loved and thought of him as his own....4 days before his death i dreamed that he fell to the ground and just died i through myself over him and sobbed..I woke up cring and terrified...I just held him and sobbed ....It took me a couple of days to tell him, but i did and he acted like i just confrimed something he already was told...It was 1 week from his favorite holiday "christmas" He decor. the yard and house, The night before he fell he had to put together the kids toys he also told me he was at peace...On top of all of this we we're suppose to get married the 1st Saturday in Jan.. Plus before his death we discussed everything we both wanted to happened if the other we're to die.....Plus he had just upped his life insurance......If their has to be a plus he gave life to 5 people at Christmas time that was his final wish...I miss him with all my heart and soul..WE had really hard times for a really long time, but thankfully he changed before his death.....I still am in love with him and always will be....

to put it very simple, i think your daily subconcious thoughts got piled in one dream. obviously you think of him....he gave you kids. you most likely felt the "it's over" because you dont have to be subjected to any sort of his abuse...or because he has changed for the better, and there is no more abuse.
you realize in your dream that your kids love and need him.
i wish i hadn't brought my dream interpretation book back to the library, because colors mean a lot, and the floating thing, plus death interests me. i will definitely check on it for you!

Your dream means you have a burden in your heart that needs to be released. forgive your husband from everything he does wrong with you. the Chinese believe if u dreamed of someone dies, it means something good is going to happen to this person,do u still feel for him? i have strange dreams all the time, but nothing really happens to link to those dreams, don't be too hard to yourself, it's just a dream, wish u well!
