I have been working a night shift for 3 years. I hate it, but it pays really good. I am going to school, but I got a couple years left before I get my degree. My problem is if I get off schedule on the weekends to try to do something with my friends or family, Im so tired or in such I bad mood I never have fun. Then again, if I sleep like I should, Im only up at night and there is nothing to do. I am bored out of my mind. Is there anything I can do for entertainment? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

his ex has been having some girl living with her who i knew from years ago(she dated my cousin probably 15 years ago) this lady living with them is a known drug user crack and herion He has joint custody right now(we have her 6 months out of the year, week to week) This lady is bad news and the mother also has checked her self into rehab about 3 years ago. We have his daughter right now, and she doesnt want to go home anymore but the custody agreement says week to week the mother lives in a neighborhood that is not very nice and brook is not allowed outside over there Should we call CYS and can they really do anything about this person with only hearsay custody is such a horrible process but what can we do please help we want her to come with us...love her like my own.i have raised 2 girls of my own who are 21 and 18.we just dropped the daughter off at camp yesterday afternoon for a week so we have a week to figure something out before she gets back here and we have to send her home

I met this guy on the internet about almost 3 years ago. He's a year older than me, hes smart, cute, funny..all those good qualities you look for in a guy. The problem is..he lives out of the country. I am soooo in love with him. I have never loved anyone more. Theres nothing i wouldnt do to be with him, or even talk with him. We talk basically every single day, for hours despite the time zone difference. I truly love him and i cant see my life without him. If i go out on a date with a guy, i feel guilty like im cheating on him. When he chats with other girls online i get jealous. We plan on meeting in a couple of years after we are both done with schooling. Everything is so perfect with him. I smile at the very thought of him. I know he feels the same way, we have talked about this many times. Does this seem like true love? or just an obsession? What should i do? I cant even go out with anyone else without feeling so guilty.

me and my bf have been dating for more than a year an a half now..i have a very bad temper..and each time when im angry..i'll take my anger out on my bf..he's really caring and continue being patient with me..until this year..he could not stand it any longer..he sad that he wants to take a break..and he is tired of arguing with me(we argue too often)...i cried and beg him not to leave me.. but he said that he'll leave me for 1 month..and in this 1months time..he's expecting me to change my attitude and anger..i really don't want to lose him..what should i do?

How much did you ladies spend on your gown? Where was it from and what does it look like?

I ordered my wedding gown from Priscilla of Boston and it cost me $6000. It's A-line and ivory. Custom made to fit me and hand beaded. It was the first dress I tried on but hesitated because of the price tag. After shopping around I had to come back to order it. It's very detailed and absolutely breathtaking. I have a cathedral veil as well as a blusher and thank god that was only $300.

We have been married for 3 years and have a 1 year old son together. He also has 3 other kids from his previous marriage. Anyway, i don't know what to do. He doesn't ever seem ''in the mood'' to do anything with me anymore or at least lately. He says he is always in the mood but he never tells me. When i ask him why he doesn't answer. He also seems to be in a depressed mood lately and i try and talk to him about it and he doesn't answer back. No, im not a nagging wife infact i give him plenty of space. This situation is really bugging me. It's like we're an old married couple with sex being last. Now i don't need to hear how sex isn't everything because believe me i know it's not but it's different when it's pretty much non existant. My husband's other son besides the one we have together lives with us too and he has slept by his friend's house 3 nights in a row yet my husband and i spent ZERO time together all 3 nights! Does anyone see a problem with this? I do. I haven't let myself

Periodically I write and ask advice for a male friend who has had ongoing trouble with the mother of his daughter. I always look for insight and advice here, because some give the best advice here. So many sharp minds. Which has been a awesome resource.
He came to me today, very upset. He recieved some emails, which I read, and was so sick I thought I would vomit.
His daughter has not been to his house in 4 months. And she sent him numerious e-mails stating unless he divorced his current wife, she would never be back. She has claimed her stepmother has pinched her and called her a fat, nasty, lesbian. And cusses her out all the time. This was also what his daughter has said her mothers ex and the kids at school have said. So there is a patern. His current wife has never done anything of the sort and is offended and very put off by them. He is now going to hire a lawyer to terminate parental rights because he is sick of his ex using his child and is disgusted to no end.

My wife is planning to resign her job today and going back to her home country to live with her parents and her sister. Wehave been married for four years. All the fights and arguements have brought us to this point. She often talks of her ex boyfriend, but admits she fought more with him than me. But I don't look for fights. This situation has come to a head now so she is going fotr about 2 or 3 months. I thinkthe space is good because it will give us both time to assess things clearly. Yet I know if she does'nt come back, I will miss her, and in another way, maybe I won't. What is wrong if a woman has a relationship with another man especially when her husband is drunkard and has been pretending to her and telling lies to her that he doesn't have this habit at all and spends money on this and tells hundreds of lies for this and she comes to know about this habit thro one of this office colleagues itself. Added to this if he happens to be earning less and incapable of running a family whereas the wife happens to earn more than him. Will any woman have any respect for this kind of a man will she not be agitated and wanted to have her own kind of life. Pls do not say divorce since it is being considered as a taboo even today by some family . What do you say if a woman has been bearing with this kind of a man for nearly 4 yrs. At least if he is settled in life to certain extent we can accept even that is not there means won't any woman's mind get diverted. That too when she is forced to bear with this man. After all she is also a ordinary humanbeing.

hi...i'm 17 yr old girl. last week my mom and one of her friends were talking about teenagers and promiscuity and everything concerned. i overheard her saying that she trusts me and knows i'd never make the wrong choices. i was so struck by this...i'm not a virgin and she takes me to be an angel. i was sad and felt like i was deceiving her. i haven't been dishonest with her ever and told her that i'm not a virgin and have done some crazy things. as expected she was angry and yelled at me. i know she was very sad n i was miserable that i made her sad. i expected her to talk to me the next day and was geared to make it up to her. but she didn't even utter a word to me the next day and it's been 3 days with no change. i'd do anything to make her talk to me again. what do i do? plz temme. it's killing me. how do i approach her? she's been ignoring me since and i don't know what to do. my dad is away on an official tour and i am the only daughter. plz plz plz tell me wat to do......

My sisters husband is a jerk. he has said really inappropriate things to me. like if i 'wore leather around him i'd be in trouble;' cos he has a thing for leather. he threatens to kill himself. calls me or my sister up crying, then one time he did try to hang himself. i was writing him an email saying i didn't want anymore contact with him (he kept emailing me) and my sister comes in the room and starts writing things on my behalf, like what a great guy i think he is, and i'm sorry for everything i did (which is basically try and keep away from him) I am disappointed in my sister, because she's trying to put words in my mouth, and also she gets me to say things for her. like when she left, i was talking to his mum and dad to get them to see her side and that he needed help. i had to listen to them tell me that it was my fault for not wanting them to be together, but i never even got involved while they were together. i was staying away.

Since my car-crash, I can look into someone's eyes and see their soul, i.e. if it's a Good or a Bad Soul. I can tell if someone's happy or sad, if they're good or bad!

My father whom I love very much, when I look into his eyes, I see dark and evil. He has a violent attitude sometimes.

I.e:
When I punish my son for being naughty, I'm in sh*t by him for disciplining my son, but it's fine for him to punish my son. Sometimes he comes to me with an evil smirk and says that he punished and smacked my son!

I'll flip out on that, then my mom says to me that I'm pathetic!

What can I do?

I do pretty well at school. Today I got top marks in my Stats assessment. When I told my Mum about my results, she just said ok, good. I got top marks in my geography assignment. I got no recognition from my Mum.

My parents are seperated, my Dad lives in a different country.

I try really hard because this is the last year of high school and I want to go to a good university.

I've tried talking to my Mum about it but all she says it 'I do appreciate you, I always tell you how well you do'

I only work hard for myself now. I've given up hope of my Mum ever being happy for me.

Is this the right thing to do? Should I wait for her to start giving me some credit?

It's so hurtful when she acts like she doesn't care.

I have been home all my life, and my mother is very protective of me. She does not let me do anything, and she yells at me a lot. I even told her one day that I know she thinks I'm a pestt and bothers her, and she did not say anything, so I took that as true. I know she loves me, but she is way too controling. I am leaving in January, but have not told her yet. DO you think it will be hard for her? And how do you think I should tell her?

Here's a quick run through:
1. Realized I couldn't afford to live in california after the seperation.
2. Discussed my financial situation with father & advised I'd have 2 move & that we needed 2 come up w/ a custody arrangement.
3. Was served w/ custody papers preventing me from leaving.
4. I Initially proposed 2 let her stay w/ him for the 1st 3 years, where she would be w/ me in the summer & alternating Thanksgiving & Christmas ( 2 get aclomated 2 the new area), then for the following 3 years she'd come w/ me & be w/ him for the summer, etc. - - - He did not agree & requested 2 have her evaluated (I guess this request is a right he has).
5. Father has a history of trying 2 keep my 12 year old stepson from his natural mother & not encouraging a relationship between them (I've raised him for the last 10 years). He's showing signs of repeating that with our kid
6. He has spanked our other kids (welts, bruises), there is a report from CPS on fie.
7. She wants to come with me 1st

I thought that when u loved and cared for someone jealousy was a natural reaction and that u want them all to yourself??

He has stated he wants a casual relationship but tells me he loves me and wants me and needs me. He says very sweet words
However just dont believe him as he is ok for me to go out with other guys and says he aint jealous
