I am 18 never had a girlfriend or even my first kiss, never been on a date. I am 5'9" 145 pounds athletic/built, just smaller frame and 4% body fat. I am a nice guy, outside of the boxing ring. I am kind and respectful. I can have fun doing just about anything and like to party. I am pretty smart, going to college this fall and always had pretty good grades in highschool. I dont believe I am ugly, maybe alittle young looking for my age but not ugly. I love pretty much all sports, but boxing is what I mostly do now a days. I just dont get why girls have never found me attractive, I had not really noticed until my friends all had girlfriends and I didnt and I think they think I am weird or gay which I am not. I am just really shy and never could ask any of my crushes out, but they didnt seem to like me that much anyways, so I think I am just gonna give up on love and just ignore girls cuz they never showed any interest in me so why should I.

I think I need to just shut out any contact with girls cuz no one really finds me attractive and I will just keep feeling this pain every time I fall for a girl. So no more I am just gonna turn my ability to love off cuz I dont really need it

oh it's not you, no lady has been lucky enough to date ya .
there are many fish in the sea dear, you just haven't found the right girl yet, don't worry, it'll come, it always comes haha
besides it's a good thing you haven't dated all these women, you are cleaner for not dating alot - trust me
I've never had a boyfriend either and I am a young adult but I don't regret it. All my friends who did and still date alot are heart broken and worn out, it ain't worth it. But I am attractive and stuff I just don't like putting myself out there for anyone to "just use"
kudos to you, you sound handsome anywho so no worries k
focus on your school! school first chicks later

My husband in HS was 5'10" with a small frame and about 140 with no girlfriend. You do have hope, please don't give up. :-)
Here's the thing; in college things are totally different! You can have the BEST time! And a clue to women, the more you think about them the less attention you will get.
Focus on fun, friends, boxing and grades. Forget the girls and then they will find YOU.
If you're shy it might just make you a bit awkward around girls you like, but if you forget about dating them and just try to pal around, they will most likely just fall for you. Don't ignore them though, just make friends.
What makes most guys look wierd or gay is that they try too hard. REALLY! Just to be sure, ask a girl you know, even a cousin to evaluate your clothing and hair - your overall look before you go to college. Girls are ALWAYS up for that. You'll be fine, just give it time.
PS, my husband filled out in college (late) to 155 & looked great. Sometimes patience and time are all you need.

I'm 19yrs and I've never had a date or my first kiss. I know I'm not ugly, I find myself attractive. I am also incredibly shy and never asked out any of my crushes because I believed I never had a chance. But I'm not going to give up on it because its not going to take me nowhere, things aren't going to change if I give in. I know exactly how you feel. College will be different, people are more open minded and mature. Hopefully you can find some confidence in yourself. Good Luck.

Man don't be a sissy. Are you timid in the ring too? What are you scared of? You fight guys bigger than you, why are you scared of girls? Go have fun, talk to them. They aren't scary. What's the worst they are going to say? No? Big deal. There are a lot of fish in the pond, man-go get yours. You'll dig college. I had a buddy in HS that was so sheltered, a great football player that got no play from girls. Went to college and totally changed his personality.

well it sounds like your falling for girls, for their looks, cause if you fell for them for their intelligence, then i think there would be a connection for the (both) of you.when i met the guy of my dreams,I was the shy one in a relationship...one is usually shy and the other is not.thats how a couple fits.dont worry about what your friends say,you know what you are and how you are,DONT give up,TRUE LOVE WILL happen for you,be patient, and make sure you listen to that woman, she might be trying to tell you something.....................

You have to continue to go after them. They are not going to beg you to ask them out. You may ask 5 or 6 before you get that date, but if you don't ask any , you will never have a date. It is like riding a bike, once you get used to it, it is easy!!
