Great answer bluedevil I agree. However, it is still nice to show appreciation every once in a while. With maybe a nice gift or something. Does he like sports? Get him tickets to something. Give him a sexy massage. whatever be creative. Write a love note, or something. My girlfriend already "knows" I love her, but I still show her in ways all the time.

This may sound unusual but tell him 3 things you really respect about him and offer to give him a foot massage or a shoulder massage. That will inspire him and warm his heart!

Why do you feel like you have to prove any thing? You telling him should be enough. Be his best friend, he needs to allow you to be his all. It takes two and you should not have to work hard at trying to please him. It should be a mutual thing. Loving someone shouldn't be so hard.
