That depends on what you're doing. There are certain things that everyone considers "personal" (having sex, with or without a partner; going to the bathroom, etc.). However, if what you're doing would be considered a "perversion" (child porn, self-mutilation, cross-dressing, etc.), then you should probably talk to a psychiatrist before these predilictions become obsessions...or if they've already become obsessions, so you'll be able to start some therapy.
It is impossible to live your life so pure that "anything" you do would not embarass you if it were made public...unless you were a monk. So don't worry about being alone in this situation. Just worry if the things you do are considered "abnormal". If you're not sure what is or is not abnormal, then again, see someone you can talk to in confidence (a professional) and ask their opinion on the subject and what you should do.
