Because i just did it. And he said yes. i did it because i knew he'd liked me for ages. But how does that make other guys feel? Does it 'shrink your manhood'? or is it good?

Its a good thing. If men and women are equal, then can't girls ask guys out?

I can't speak for all guys, but I can say that this has happened to me and it's totally great.

You are lucky that you already knew that this guy liked you, because I can tell you that it's not always that way when a guy asks out a girl. It's a nerve-wracking situation at best. You pretty much knew what the answer was going to be, which is nice.

When a girl asks out a guy, he doesn't have to go through all the sweaty-palm stuff. He KNOWS that the girl is interested. So from our point of view, it's great!

I feel great when a girl asks me out. The only time I get turned off is when a girl comes on too strong. For the most part, the thrill of the hunt is very important. But, if he likes you, and you asked him out, he would probably be on cloud 9 right about now.

Shrink my manhood? haha Just the opposite... men love it when they see a woman strong enough to take the chance.
