some guys find really tall girls weird

Well...can't really say that's my experience. I'm 5'9 myself and all my boyfriends have been taller than me. My current boyfriend and childs' father is 6'7 as a matter of fact. I've never had problem attracting taller men. That's all I date. I don't think they are so much as intimidated as someone answer previously. I just think its the type of guys you are finding. I honestly don't think they discriminate because fo height. Like I said..all of my men have been tall. Wouldn't take them no other way. Maybe sometimes you should be be the persuer instead of waiting on them to approach you. Regardless what anyone say, nothing wrong with the female pursuing every now and then. You could miss out from someone good waiting on them to pursue you. If tall is what you like, stick to it. If they don't come to you...present yourself. Show them what you working with! Let them know you can be just as fun-loving as these short women out here!

Some tall guys go for tall girls.
Just find the right guy. And most guys might not go for the tall girls because they're intimidated that they're shorter than them.

I think tall guys want to tower over their women. I don't understand it, but that seems to be the case. 5'9 is tall, but not overly tall. I am 5'9. My wife is 5'5. If wasn't married, I would date a girl my height. I just don't want my girl to be 2-3 inches or more taller than me.

I like tall girls/women myself. Just keep trying there is alway a really tall guy looking for a 5'9" shorty like youself.

It's a deep seeded thing. A genetic code in male DNA, that shows power or control. Bigger means better type of mentality. It may be subtle, and they may deny it, but it's there. Even if they don't mean to, it's there in the undertones of who they are attracted to. Hence, why most men like women petite and short, where there is a sense of control. It sounds bad but it's been going on for millions of years.
Personally, if you are funny, cute, kind, loving, romantic, and faithful...height doesnt matter to me

I'm 5'9" male, and I'd date a girl my height. A girl over 6' tall would intimidate me, but if she was cute and we got along, I'd date a girl of any height.

Guys tend to like feeling dominant and in control. A taller girl may seem more threatening to guys because she's as tall as or taller than him. Most guys I've met seem to like fragility and a small package. Which is stupid, as they turn around and drool over 6 foot models.

because it makes them feel a bit more like men! If you're girlfriend is small, it gives you the sense that you are protecting her and watching over her at all times when you are with her.. stupid I know, but thats how most guys I know feel about it. Though 5'9 is not bad! :D

I don't think they want to be intimidated. I am 5'7"(im 16 yrs old) and will date anyone at the most 4" taller than me but not more.
