We have a long distance relationship. He is cheating on me but rather than tell me after the fact, because of our extrme honesty and what used to be a truly amazing relationship he gives me the play by play of the sitution with the other woman. He cant walk away from her, his words are that she leaves him completley incapacitated. I dont know what to do, i know he is not cheating because of our relationship, it is the distance, he is lonely, and she made him feel good, i mean the girl started telling him she loves him in two weeks time and obssesing over him... guys like that. He doesnt want me to go but i dont know what to do . A part of me feels it will be over with her in a matter of months but WTF is he doing ... i know him for so long i know how he was in his other relationships and a part of me is not suprises, but i know that no matter what a par tof him cant live without me either. I am so confused.

ok..he doesn't like punch me or slap me..but he threw me into the shower and i have HUGE..(i mean black and blue) bruises on my upper thigh and my hip..I love him we've been together for almost a year..I can't see myself with anyone else...but how can i get him to stop lashing out at me like that..???????? What would you do if your boyfriend just broke up with you and you miss him so bad it hurts? I've never loved anyone the way I love him. It kind of scares me because I want him so bad. It's only been about two weeks since the break up. Two of my best friends are moving in about two months and I'm really bummed about that. I'll be starting seventh grade soon and I am so totally not looking forward to it. Is there any way I could possibly look at all these things as positive?

The girl I like, always tells me that she is ugly. I keep telling her she's not, and she keeps saying she is ugly. How can I tell her that she is not ugly and show her that I care about her. I can't really date her because of her dad. He doesen't like me. We can only see eachother on parties, and recently I met her in a party, but she doesen't talk to me much anymore. She says its wierd meeting from a long time ago. There's going to be another party in a week. What should I say? We talk a lot on email though, and she said she use to like me. I mean, seriously, in 99.9999999999% dates you spend hours, repeat, hours talking and doing things you have no interest in whatsoever, and then find out that you probably won't have sex, and if you do have sex you are most likely to find it less enjoyable than your right hand and a porn movie, because she won't let you do this and won't let you do that, acting like a virgin but in fact she has slept around with a lot of guys you have never met. Somehow she has this princess syndrom that drives you nuts. At the end of the day you wonder why the heck you asked her out in the first place.

As a guy, I find this happening to me. A girl who looks like a 7/10 when i don't know if she likes me becomes an 8/10 or better when i know she likes me.

Anyone else? Both guys and girls can answer this.

Please say what you are, though, cuz I'm curious if this is for both guys and girls.

My parents are divorced, my dad is remarried and walking me down the aisle. My mom is not remarried. When the preacher asks, "Who gives this woman...?", does my dad say "her mother, step-mother, and I? Or "I do" or WHAT? My step-mom has been in the picture for about 10 years, so she needs to be included unless my dad just says "I do" like he is giving me away.

My parents don't talk to eachother unless they have to, but they are civil when they do talk.

Any suggestions for how to word the "giving away" statement?

My parents watch our children (ages 1 and 3) for us during the weekdays while my wife and I work. We are very grateful to have them around to do this for us and we let them know this quite often. Occasionally they will do things that we consider stepping over the boundry of being a grandparent. For example, my wife and I had been talking about taking the kids to get professional pictures done very soon since my 1 year old has never had any taken. Well today my parents gave us a "wedding anniversary" gift, which was proffessional pictures of our kids that they had done without telling us. My wife and I were a little upset because we were looking forward to taking our son for his first professional pictures ourselves. We didn't say anything because we didn't want to come off as ungrateful for the gift. They've done other things along these lines, like buy them holiday outfits when we feel this is our responsibilty. Are we right to feel a little upset by this, and should we say something?

Here's the deal- I don't date. ever. but i've met this guy who's really sweet & good looking & just plain good.... so i asked him out- which i never ever do- (so he must be something, right? usually i just pine away until it's too late)

ok, so after a games nite with my friend, her hubby, me, him & some other guy ; a movie night with same friend, Hubby & the 2 of us- (I cooked - he made dessert & he got my friend to take a photo of me), one 8hr date where he took a photo of us under a tree (aww), an invite to his brother's 18th where there was a fair bit of eye flirting, & me inviting him ice skating with a bunch of friends where he took a photo of us after i fell (lol)- DOES THIS GUY LIKE ME or just like taking photos??? is he just shy & slow to make a move or is it my turn to ask him? I don't want to wear the pants here- i'd like him to take control dammit!!! (FYI i'm not hanging all over him or pretending i don't care. He has a lot of female friends- am i just 1 of them?)

I am married now and all but my kids are not by him I have 4 wonderful children. My ex husband I have 3 by and the past 3 summers he has taken them he tries to find reasons to take them from me. He fills their heads with so many things its not funny. I have talked to a Lawyer but they want 2500.00 up front to even start the case. What can or should I do? Ok, I am confused. I have been going through quite the dating dry spell lately, but now I might have finally found a guy that is what I've been looking for. Here's the deal: We attended the same function last weekend and he saw me there and thought I was cute. He just happens to be friends with a couple that I know and he wants to meet me. So they have been trying to set us up. I am supposed to meet him this weekend.
So anyways, I love to dress up. I love wearing skirts and dresses and nice tops. Even if I'm in jeans, I am almost always in heels. But I just could not find a man. The few guys that I have gone out with in the recent past have been losers. So last weekend, I was wearing jeans, black flip flops, and a plain black tanktop (beater) and I somehow attracted a seemingly great guy? WHY?? Do guys prefer girls who wear plain clothes as opposed to more dressy outfits? Please fill me in! Thanks!

My ex girlfriend and i have been talking and going out together since march of 2003.

We break up and get back together the reason beign distance we live in different states and school and everything else.
There was a time in our lives last year were we both went our own ways and had other people in our lives.
i got someone pregant . earlier this year my ex girlfriend and i got to talking again i loved her and we were trying to work things out. When i told her about gettin the girl pregant she flipped and thought i did it to hurt her. AND WAS MADD BECAUSE I DIDNT TRUST HER ENOUG TO TELL HER EARLIER.THE GIRL ENDED UP LOSSING THE BABY.
we worked through that. but when she told me that while me and her were apart she and her ex. the guy she was dating before me who treated he rlike sh*t went out for lunch i went crazy and hurt. IT HURT ME MORE THEN ANYTHING . SHE SAID SHE WANTED TO be honest and tell me. that she was lonely and was attratcted to him. im still madd at her for this.

I am crazy broke and unable to find employment for almost a year and 1/2. There is this guy who is crushin' on me, but I am not attracted to him in anyway shape or form. What makes man decide to move in with her girlfriend...?
after being together for half year, am wondering if we should move in together.. but he hasnt mentioned it.am the only woman he seeing since we together, and he is loving and caring. i spend four days a week at his place. and he is moving out in six weeks as sold his house for reinvestment. but he havent mentioned to ask me move in with him. he was newly divorced when we met(he had couple of gf before me for fun).he is 36, am not sure what he is thinking...any guys here have any clue what makes a man move in or not move in with a woman.
