I called this guy I've been crushing on ALL year at school this summer and chatted with him for a while. He had to go, so I gave him my number so he could call me back later (which he said he would do.) It's been over a week now and he hasn't called. What should I do now?

We're both 15 going on 16 and he is SOOOOOOO outgoing and smiley that it's not even funny...okay, actually it is pretty funny. He is really funny and he's also the nicest guy I've ever met. He's ALWAYS smiling and laughing and I really don't think that nerves are the problem with him...that's what I'm afraid of...that he's just not calling because he doesn't want to. :(

Would it be bad to call him back or would that come across as desperate or something? We're really just friends right now, so I don't think it would be a problem, but I'm not sure.

I would think that he hasn't rung you because he is not ready for a girlfriend at 15. That's not to say he doesn't like you, so when you go back to school you can approach him and see if he is friendly again. Give him, and yourself, a chance to grow up and enjoy your teen age with friends of both sexes without complicating things. Just have fun. Romance will come in time - but remember it's not all good.

First of all, how old are you and how old is this guy? I mean, are we talking high school, middle school, college? Your age impacts things, just trust me on that one. His personality has a huge impact as well. Is he shy or is he generally charismatic and talkative?
Usually guys follow an unofficial three-day rule of thumb when calling a girl they really like. (Wait two days, call her on the third.) Most men who really like a girl usually will call her back before a week runs its course. That's true if we're talking about older guys, here...but if you're a bit younger, the boy you were crushing on may be too young...and too shy...to muster the courage to pick up the phone!
EDIT: Well, he could be really outgoing among friends and just really shy when it comes to finally asking that girl he adores out on a date. (That's my personality type in a nutshell, actually.) But, sorry Bri -- I'd have to agree with the second poster -- the initial prognosis doesn't look good -- he doesn't seem that into you. But, maybe he will call. And if he doesn't call...there are plenty of other guys out there...three billion to be exact!

How long did you talk to him 4 ?He might not actully like like u!And he knows you are like him alot!You call him , he might already have a girlfriend or he is just busy.Also how old r u?Wish you luck!LOTS OF LUCK!!!!!!!!!
