yes you can still be friends with her, It will take some time from the awkwardness if she doesn't like you back. But, it just all depends on how the person takes it. I used to like someone who 's been my best friend for 2 years & one day we finally told each other that we liked each other. i didn't like him for that whole 2 years I liked him, then I just told him. We dated a little bit, but it wasnt official so I told him that I just wanted to stop dating and just be only best friends because it was kinda weird holding and making out with someone who you always knew as your best friend. He said it was alright, so we continued to be best friends. Later that night he got drunk & said " It's either now or never" & I said "okay if you can't wait for me, then it's never" & now we just remain bestfriends. i still like him&always will but here's a hint: never date someone who's yer best friend. hahaha [=

Ok..... based on past experiences you can be friends with someone even if you/they don't feel the same way as the other one it depends on alot of things for starters how good of friends were you before one of you told the other that you liked them as more than friends? I had the same thing happen and him and I are still friends to this day we've been friends for eighteen years.
