I am crazy broke and unable to find employment for almost a year and 1/2. There is this guy who is crushin' on me, but I am not attracted to him in anyway shape or form. He has offered to help me get a job at the place he works. I would feel like I owe him a date/some time for helping me, but if the circumstances were different I simply would prefer not to....Any and all advice is needed and appreciated.

It's really too ironic that you would say wal-mart...thats the place I am trying to get into...For some reason they don't want to hire me on my own merits even though I am an extremely good worker...That's another story

You dont not owe him. You're taking his offer & accepting it.
It's very nice of him to give you that oppurtunity. You need a job too bad to decline his offer. Maybe you working at the job means you'll get to know him a little bit better & realize he's not as bas as you thought he was.

walmart is hiring. honestly.
If you're looking for an easier way out, forget it. You only have 3 choices. Get a job (working anywhere), Take this guy's help and be willing to give him whatever he asks (and you know that he's going to hold that job thing over your head forever), or stay broke.
you can try to pretty this up anyway you want but you know i'm telling you the truth.
so the reality of the situation is, guys will always give you something to get something. and walmart is always hiring.

go on the date he never said after you have to go out with him and if you can get employmaent at the same time that could help.

best idea is be honest --- say yes and let him know you dont want to go out with him --- you might find he just wants to help --- best wishes
