Look at facial muscles. Look at the eyes. If someone is lying to you, they will look up to the left after they told the lie.

Some would say when his lips are moving. A better way is if his body language seems to be hiding something (arms crossed for example), or he fidgets, if he can't look you in the eye, or if his eye pupils are too small.

Truthfully, if you have to ask, you know he's lying.
Signs:
--He's always got an excuse not to be with you.
--He always turns his cell off before coming into the house.
--HE WORKS LATE.
--He's disinterested in sex (RED FLAG), 'cause how many men you know that don't want to bump uglies).
--He's irritable and argues a lot about stupid stuff, using that as his lame excuse to leave.
--He can't look you in the eye.
