As a guy, I find this happening to me. A girl who looks like a 7/10 when i don't know if she likes me becomes an 8/10 or better when i know she likes me.
Anyone else? Both guys and girls can answer this.
Please say what you are, though, cuz I'm curious if this is for both guys and girls.

this is generally true across the board. Actually, one of the principles of liking a person IS that the person likes you. It makes total sense. What happens when someone likes you? You feel attractive, more confident, and good about yourself. Then you associate those feelings with that person. So it makes perfect sense.

YES! If you see someone on the street and think, "oh, they might be dating material" and then go on dates and find out that you have a lot in common and that you really like this person, she/he will become more than a number (7/10 etc). You will like them more because you will look further than looks. You take into count thier personality, quirks, etc.
It's completely normal. That is basically how some people fall in love (the ones that don't know right from the start)!

Yes, I'm a 25 yr old girl and I think that's true. No matter who you are, you love attention. I think if someone is willing to give you that attention you need, it makes you feel 10 times better about yourself and you feel yourself becoming more and more attracted to that person. I can't really explain it but it's happened!!

I don't judge ppl on their looks..they're not a 7/10 then become an 8/10 or better because they are interested in me.......to each and their own tho* If it works for you..great~

As you get older girls are less judgmental..thats why you see some good looking girls with fat guys because they are nice good people.
For me, I dated this girl who was average looking but the more I got to know her the personality shined and she became more attractive.
Just remember looks can come and go bu the personalty doesnt change

I think knowing they like you, makes you more open to your feelings for them. So, yes, they become more attractive because you are more willing to allow yourself to be attracted to them.

Definately!!!! it shows they have good taste!!! lol. unless i've already determined that somebody has a major eww factor (mr. collins!!!), i respond differently to them and see them in a different light where before i may not have considered them as "dateable" so to speak.
