I heard something to the effect that women think of emotional involvement as more important and all the physical stuff isn't, so sex wouldn't matter without emotions so it's no big deal to have sex with a guy or guys and treat them as objects. It kind of reminded me of how women think cheating with just the heart is worse than physically cheating. I guess this probably works the other way around but I heard it in this perspective. So I posit this question: since there are no emotions involved with using prostitutes would having sex with them be considered cheating?

My ex gf was totally whacked out. She lied like it was her job, said she wasn't sure who she really was, or had a low sense of self. She would lie to my face, and disappear all the time. Only to text me or email me explaing why she was dumping me this time. She would tell me to meet her somewhere and then text me saying she was gone. Then she would start crying and freaking out and run away. She would then come back a few days later every time. The girl lives with her parents at 30 years old, and her mother and brother show signs of mental illness...Do you think she is mentally ill as well? what could it be? What type of mental illness could this be??

husband doesnt only put down his wife which he says he is only joking but he is always making fun of other people on tv,etc. Like big women, when there are soap shows on he always says stuff like their going to do it something sexual all the time,he says remarks about other ethniticities and his son has already picked up on some of the remarks he has made. This goes on everyday if he was my husband I dont think I would be able to handle him criticizing people all the time. If your husband was like this would you stay with them?

Im dating a guy, weve only been dating for a month and i like him a lot.

However im in love with someone else. But this other guy has made it perfectly clear to me that we will never have a relationship again (we use to go out). But that doesnt stop me from loving him.

Does loving this other guy technically mean im cheating on my boyfriend (i read somewhere emotional feelings is the same as cheating) ?

I dont think it does but what do you think ?

I have a pair of the old-fashioned dumbbells where you slide the weights on and then hold them on with a big screw. The screw always loosens while I use them. Is there some secret to keep them tight?

Ever since I was younger, I've had pretty long hair. I really want to cut it, but my parents won't let me. Is that not ridiculous? It has nothing to do with religion or anything--they're just control freaks.
I've asked nicely and they still say no. They won't even give me a good reason. It's not like I want a mohawk or anything.

After all, it's my hair on my head. I've thought about just going and getting it cut myself [Or cutting it myself], but my parents would be angry. They'd get over it, but last time I got my hair cut [my dad finally gave in], my mom told me she hated me and grounded me for several weeks.

Any advice?

I have been dating this guy for 4 months now...last night he tells me he needs two weeks away from me to deal with stuff from his past so he can be a better person for me and my kids and that him doing this has nothing to do with how he feels about me. Not a problem, a litte hurt he wants to shut me out, but ok, whatever..what I do have a problem with is one of the things he feels he needs to deal with is a lover from his past. She called him and told him she is leaving her husband and is comming down to where we live, he invites her to stay at his place, he says because she is also a friend and didn't feel right to tell her not to come. He says he doesn't want to be with her but doesn't want to hurt HER feelings by telling her she can't stay with him. now am I the only one who thinks that my feelings are the ones he should be more concerned with and that he should be doing what he can to respect my wishes? What would you other women think and guys let me in on what this means.

I think the charge is felony child support, he owes my children 32000 dollars in arrears. I can't find out for sure if that is the charge that they are holding him for. He also has a felony charge in another county for embezzelment. He was arrested in Florida on April 7 and has been there for 2 weeks now. I just want to know if he will be extradited and when. Even if the charge is not for the child-support I may be able to at least see him in court if he is brought back to Virginia.

well i'm 16 and in the 11th grade and my parents just moved me to a new skool which is crappy enough as it is, but recently i've been having problems with my mom.
it all started about 2 weeks ago when my mom was trying to force me to call family members and talk to them for 15 minutes, shes calls this a socail recovery program because i'm socailly retarded around family members when in reality i just hate my extended family.
but neways when she tryed to force me to do this i retaliated and just said i wouldnt do it because i dont think i should be forced to talk to ppl i dont even like. a few minutes later she called me a b*tch and i left the house because i was pissed and couldnt be around her nemore.
i came back 20 minutes later and got locked in my room for the rest of the day. now i'm on probation and cant leave the house or visit with my friends. (btw i got no apology for what she called me).
idk what to do. was i right to leave? what do i do now? PLEASE HELP!

2 questions in one. First question: There is this guy that lives on my street. (I'm 15) I'd really like to meet him. He doesn't go to my school. And he rarely comes out of his house. My mom sometimes talks to his mom at the bus stop and I found out his name. I'd like to meet him as he's rather good looking and as I've heard is really sweet. What should I do? Second question: A guy friend of mine told me to play "hard to get" with a guy. Guys, is that attractive? Be honest. Not exactly hard to get but if I were to act cordial to you, not exactly flirty or extremely interested but still nice but sort of like "i like you as a friend" but still look pretty and you know? but not snobby...guys explain to me what you like. I want to know so (if) when I meet the guy I can use whatever works on him. Thanks a bunch. Peace. <33

We have a lot in common, and he has told me repeatedly that he is heterosexual. I'm not sure if I can believe this. It seems farfetched. His other best friend used to be a gay/bi male as well, but now they're no longer talking to each other. I'm not sure what to do, because everything other than this has been good. I don't want to be exposed to additional STDs, even HIV....then again, aren't there a lot of people that swing both ways these day? I'm not sure if I should just remain friends, distancing myself over time, or forge on. What is your opinion?

with despise, very disrepectful, want talk about anything even about our child, gets angry all the time, sabotages any conversations, refuses to even talk, announces by email an engagement then follows up 2 weeks later of upcoming marriage and moving 2 hours away and taking our son, flaunts the guy in front of me at her place, he shows up when she knows I am arriving to pick up our son (in the parking lot after she demanded this in court) - I find out that she was seeing this guy when she was still with me, started asking me about other women (I didn't know she was seeing the guy and she denied seeing anyone after I asked because she kept asking me) all of a sudden one day I can no longer go to her place where I practically lived for two years off an on during and post divorce - we had two homes 500 yards apart sharing both places together and with our son then all of a sudden she creates a scene, the cops are called - no arrests - she made false claims - I spoke to the police officer,

My brother was served with papers to go to court on May 21st, 70 miles from where we live for child support. He doesn't have a car at the moment and has to rely on other people to take him places, so isn't there anyway that he can take care of the child support closer to his home county?

I am a stay at home Mom of 3 kids. He goes to work, punches a time clock, comes home to a nicely cooked dinner with a tidy home. I live in a neighborhood with kids, who pretty much live in my home where the bills are paid and the home is neat and welcome. How do you feel about this?

Richard, your input is the only male input I will accept, since you are open minded, unlike the rest of the male generation.

There is a girl I work with who is always giving me a hard time. Making fun of me, talking mean to me and just always not being nice. Someone said perhaps it is because she is interested in me but she already has a boyfriend. Should I just let it roll off and play along making fun of her back?

I've been trying to be more social and talk to people more often including old friends that I haven't seen in years. For the most part, I've been successful but people always ask me one thing: "What kind of music do you listen to?"

I am always reluctant to answer this question because my answer is usually "music from movies video games." I mean, people usually respond to this like "uh.. okay...?" and slowly back away. It's not like I care what other people think of my interests, I just am curious as to why people find this so strange?

I just really like soundtracks for some reason. I don't know what do say. They always remind me of my favorite scenes in movies or potray a certain nostolgic feeling... I can't really explain. Is it really that weird that I listen to movie and video game music?
