my boyfriend of two years is emotionally killing me,i love him a lot and the way things used to be but for the last year he has been mean, we never go anywhere together, if we do its me tagging along to help him at work, any time i ask if we can go for dinner or anything he gets mad at me and says he has no time and that i dont respect him and his business, i am so frustrated cause its only me that he does this to , if anyone, i mean anyone else comes around he'll drop anything just to please them, it has caused a lot of fights latly, and he just acts so cold and heartless to me, he lies to me about small things, then tells me that its cause id just get mad, i tell him that id rather be mad than to find out later and have to wonder the truth. i dont know what to do he makes me feel so hated, unloved, and he never shows me a bit of emotion, if i cry he says i just feel sorry for myself, and he says things like "no wonder everyone hates you"even when they dont,why cant i leave him????

so i am 20 years old and engaged to a 54 year old man (don). he treats me good but i cant help but think of all the problems we will have in the future. i already get mad at him for absolutely no reason, and i just dont think i can truthfully say that i love him. i met a guy at work that treats me very well and i think that i am in love with him. he has had some problems but is doing his best to make it all better. his name is anthony and is 24 years old. i hear his voice and get excited. i see him and just want to crumble. i dont want to hurt don but i dont want to end up miserable. i also have a 5 month old by don. and my son loves anthony. i dont know what to do. the wedding is june 9th of 2007. please help!!!!

Ok, so I was married to my hero and the love of my life on 1/1/07 exactly one year and one day after we met. We just wanted to have a court house wedding with only our parents there on Camp Pendleton, CA and have a bigger wedding later. I am from Northern California, and my husband's from Wisconsin. My mom pitched a fit about a courthouse wedding, and bullied me into a big wedding. The whole time she complained about how much money they were spending, and made me feel bad when the total came out to over $30,000.

The thing is though that I only got to pick out my veil, the flowers that my brides maids and I carred, the bride's maids dresses, and the cake. My mom picked out the rest (including not allowing me to wear my dream dress). She invited all of her friends and my family, and sent out invets to my husband's family only because she "had" to.

We were married in San Francisco, and only my husband's parents and grandparents made it. The whole wedding screamed my mom.

No one can make each and every date available with friends. Sometimes I ask my friend to go somewhere and for some reason she can't make it, so I accept it and wait until she can. However, when she asks me out and the rare occasion when I can't make it, she gets huffy and I don't hear from her. Just recently she asked me to go somewhere and I said I couldn't because for safety it was too far from home to get back so late at night and now I've not heard a thing from her. I've emailed her twice and texted her. Could this to be some kind of control or what she has over me?

Well my last kiss was when i was freaking 7!!! ... finding that when you search online for other like people... for debate and friendship... all that ever comes up is sites geared to sex and relationships... with the assumption that... you must be seeking sexual liasions... and desperate to do it all again?

Do you ever wonder why anyone would want to?

You know there are so many lonely people like yourself... we hear about them all the time...we know like us, they're out there... you know... all those single females... who actually, retired (albeit unwillingly) from decades long relationships when divorce... or widowhood arrived much later in their lives... so... why is it impossible to find a site that shares being comfortable with our situation... and laughs and befriends... without the overtones of carnal need?

Would you join a friendship circle if there was one... or are you secretly looking again for another Mr Right?

Personally, I prefer friendships to relationships today!

I don't know what it is about me...really bad luck I guess...but I've been raped by five different men, two of them more than once. I'm married and and was attacked and raped by two men in my home while my husband was deployed (they are the two repeat offenders). The men are both currently in prison for the second time. My husband and I have been having some issues, which I'm guessing is normal, and I'm doing individual counseling for a while before we start going together (it was recommened by our therapist).

My questions for all the husbands out there: Have you ever had to deal with something like this? Is so, did/do you blame your wife for what happened to her? Did/do you think differently of your wife because of what happened?

he shows interest by asking me whether i wanna watch a movie(even if it was in a group), whether i want to listen to some ideas he's got, whether i've done my homework. he's curious about my family, and even said my friends are his friends. he eats with me, shares his food, sent me lots of songs(love songs, others, etc) and told me quite a lot about himself and his life. sometimes i suspect he's angry when i talk about other guys(he changes the topic or completely disregards what i've just said) he's generally concerned, asks me whether i'm ok, that i look really tired, etc.
however, he doesn't call, doesn't text, sometimes doesn't talk to me in a week or two. he's never asked me out one on one.
i like this boy very much i don't want to lose this one. can you tell me why he's acting this way? does he like me or not? what is he trying to convey? i don't want him to become disinterested after a while. :(
