New York is a fabulous place. There is so much to see and do. You will not want to leave when the time comes. I live 13 miles from NYC and always have, and I still love going into NY. If you have any questions, please email me.

i was born and raised in new york, i still live here, but we moved to long island to the suburbs when i was 3, but the city is awesome. nothing to be scared of. there are so many things to see. i go to the radio city music hall every x-mas time to see the rockettes, and there are so many cool stores. there is a toys r us that has a huge ferris wheel inside and there is a hersheys chocolate shop that u can make your own chocolate. since september 11th, we are pretty safe, good security. and see the empire state building, there is a museum on the top. enjoy yourself, you may never have the chance again.

What? What are you scared of? I can't talk you into it if I don't know what the problem is, chickpea. Nothing will have changed when you get back. GO. Bite their hands off. Think about how much you'd have to fork out to fund this experience by yourself at a later date.

Have you been away on holiday by yourself? If not, why not give it a try? You may learn some new things home. I'm sure your family's friends will take good care of you.

Clueless, please please go. Just think, if you don't you will aways be thinking "what if I'd gone" - its all paid for so no great outlay there. You sound like you are in a little comfort bubble at the moment, but nothing will change and you will gain experience just by going. New city, new culture, new food it'll be great. Flying is tedious but if you've not flown before this will be another adventure for you! Go pack now!

Go for it!!!
You know, life is all about being scared... but you have to face you fears.
You can't say no to this trip, it may be the best thing that ever happened to you...
Do it, please. NYC is amazing, I was a bit scared the first time I was there but when I got there, I didn't regret one second of it. Trust me, it's so much fun!!
Have a blast, and please go. =]

Africa, how could you leave? however,to see the world is most people`s dream it would be foolish not to go & you then get the chance to see other people from other countries who may well ask you to visit them to? GO.
