Im a girl and im a girly girl but im really into boats. Theyre like half my life and i wouldnt give them up for anything. would that turn you off if a girl knew more about boats then you? im 14 and most of the guys ive dated have loved boats as much as me because we all live on the water but their have been occasions when some dont like that i know more than them. Is that immaturity? or is it that my activity isnt girly enough?

I constantly have the feeling that others are looking down at me. They feel that their life is better because they have stable, steady jobs and intact families.

I guess I have to look at the positive points in my own life. I don't know what is the way to deal with this feeling when it overtakes me.

I feel that I am a complete and total failure and did not live up to my responsibilities as a wife and mother.

My son and his friends went to a baseball game and they were not supose to be home until 5 oclock but the game got rained out so theycame home at 3 oclock. so i thoght i would clean his room for him but to be more comftorbile i did it naked so i almost got done and his friends barged in the room and saw me naked every thing my bush and all and when i ran out i heard one of his friends say she needs to shave that i was so embaresed!

I feel sad at work when others talk about their families especially their children.

My daughter lives with her Dad in another state. We talk but not that often. She is upset with me for various reasons.

I feel ashamed of myself for being divorced and not having much of a family life to talk about. People talk about attending their children's games, etc.

I usually spend the weekends by myself running errands and sometimes get together with friends.

I wish that I had a different life, but right now I do not. I can not get back together with my ex-husband because but I can not. I know that he and his mother wanted that and felt that my "future' was with him.

How do I handle this feeling of not belonging because I can not talk about my family at work? I feel ashamed because my child is not doing well and is not with me. I gave him custody during the divorce.

One of my best friends cut her wrists again. And this time she did it like 30 times. I know she has many family problems...her parents are divorced she barely ever sees her dad who ignores her, and her mom lyterally smacks her around. Her bf and her broke up only two or three weeks ago and she is still taking it pretty hard becuase it was an ugly break up. I want to help her so much. I care about her but i don't know how i can help her. I have my own very personal problems and i have cut myself twice..but i don't know how i can help her. I still haven't been able to help myself. She means to much to me to loose, i can't loose another one of my best friends. I wouldn't be able to take it. Does anyone know how i can help her?...i can't bare to watch her kill herself like this. Even if i have many problems of my own..she means more to me.

So there's this guy. (of course!) and he is chivalrious...if thats a word. He holds the door, and when I'm behind him in line he lets me go first. (Hes not really the type that does that). He touched my hair. He asked me to be his spanish partner and brags about it to his friends. He looks at me...differently than how other people look at me. He seems to like me.
But my friend talks to him...and after many long pauses and umms when asked if he likes me, he says, I know she likes me, but no one told him! and then he ums a bit more and says he "doesn't really like me". Is he lying? I need help. I am rejected so much! But he really seemed to like me...

Short story: My 6yr old son has encopresis, poops in pants several times a day and can't help it. Medicine takes up to if not more than 1yr to fix problem. I don't want him to be called "smelly kid" or have chunks of poo fall out of his pants or have other kids tease him. Do you think its a good reason to homeschool him until I get this problem resolved, which I am in the progress of? I'v already asked this question in parenting & grade school section & got no answer. Ok...here's the thing...I'm in college right now and I have what most would call a "school-girl crush" on my college professor. *Sigh* All this drama with my friends....it's staring to make me miss middle school. Ok. So my best guy friend is gay, and he just broke up with his bf. I was genuinly upset when I found out, because the three of us and my group of girlfriends always have so much fun hanging out and stuff. But when I tried to console him about it, he got mad at me and accused me of starting a rumor that caused them to break up. Ok so my dad died 2 months ago (I'm 14) and like I don't know what to do. I refuse to read and books or go to any support groups or anything like that because......well.......they don't know what's going on with ME and I don't want them telling me how I should feel. what do you like in a girl? i mean... i have a bunch of boyfriends lately but they usually only use me. One told me that the only reason he dated me was cause he heard i was a whore. another said the only reason i dated you was cause u were hot. and idk whats so wrong with my personality! I mean, I'm nice to people and iwould not be mean to anyone. I do alot of sports, and love boats. I wear makeup but just light makeup and im not afraid of jellyfish or anything because im always around them. Im not much of a girly girl but im not a manly girl. Is it so wrong that I don't scream when I see fish and stuff? Could it be something else? I love video games and to run and get dirty. But i love showers and spa days too.
