Hold off on the kissing...y'all are only about 11 yrs old, dating is years away...kissing should be too (unless you mean a close-lipped smooch on the cheek).
Hang on to being a kid while you can....there's plenty of time for the girl/boy thing down the road.

One of my friends married a boy she met in the 6th grade and they now have 4 children together and are very happy.
If you would like to kiss her. I would think you should aske her if its ok first.
