Stupid mind-games are only going to work on guys who are into stupid mind-games. The same ones who will eventually cheat on you or worse.
So basically, it works exactly the way that women really want. It drives decent guys away, and keeps "bad boys" interested.

If it does, you're going after the wrong guys...game playing is a waste of time and "hard to get" is nothing short of dishonest. If you like someone, why should you need to pretend you don't, to get them to notice you?
This life is too short for that stuff...if 2 people like each other they should be able to make that clear, and then move forward. If I want to play games, I'll break out the Monopoly board.

I'm not a guy but I can certainly tell you the answer. I have learned this from my husband, and my sons. Guys like the chase. They love the hunt. If there is not a challenge presented to get what they want, they lose interest and move on elsewhere to something new, where the is a new hunt. Trust me, any honest guy will tell you this.

When I was dating, it was simple - no interest from her, no interest from me. It probably works on some guys, but I never had enough self-confidence to take it as anything but a brush-off. Perhaps things are different now.
