So there's this guy. (of course!) and he is chivalrious...if thats a word. He holds the door, and when I'm behind him in line he lets me go first. (Hes not really the type that does that). He touched my hair. He asked me to be his spanish partner and brags about it to his friends. He looks at me...differently than how other people look at me. He seems to like me.
But my friend talks to him...and after many long pauses and umms when asked if he likes me, he says, I know she likes me, but no one told him! and then he ums a bit more and says he "doesn't really like me". Is he lying? I need help. I am rejected so much! But he really seemed to like me...

of course he does. Think, he brags about being your spanish partner,he hold the door and lets you in front of him in line (especially if he not that type),and if you notice something like that in his eyes when he looks at you, then he's got it bad. Go for it and ask him out. i'm almost positive he'll say yes!

Words are meaningless the majority of the time. Its what we do that speaks the loudest. He is shy no doubt (the long pauses and all). If he didnt like you he would of said it straight out to the friend (also whats with sending your minions, damm girls do the job yourself :P).

I think he does but why would he say no when he has a chance to let you know he does....maybe he is to shy to admit it personally...just go with the flow and the truth will come out sooner or later..it always does.

If someone asks him if he likes you and he studders or looks at his feet and attempts to avoid the question, he most likely likes you. And from what you said it sounds like he does. But if your afraid of rejection, wait before you jump into another relationship.

He's probably just shy when it comes to relationships. When someone asks me if I like (insert name here) I freeze up and say no, even if I do like him.

it seems like he was put in the spot and people don't tend to tell the truth when that happens, also i think that he may be interested if he wasn't then he wouldn't be so nice considering the fact he "knows" you like him..
