I hope you filed a police report because if not it will be hard to prove, you have to remember how many women make up lies to hurt the father. I'm not saying you at all, but the phsycos in the world have made it hard for those of us who really have issues. I would contact a lawyer or a legal aide advisor depending on your financial situation AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. Let them know that you are just looking out for the child because the father does not want it and took steps to terminate the pregnancy, tell them you fear that he may hurt the child so he doesnt have the responsibilty to deal with. And why did you not press charges on those girls, You are aware that if a woman beats on a pregnant woman and she knows you are pregnant they can be charged with attempted murder charges arent you? We do not have the right as individuals to give someone else an abortion so to speak. I am sorry you have to deal with this being a young mother is a challange in itself, I had my first at 15 I can relate. Keep your chin up and get this in court! He has to file for rights and if you beat him to the punchline it will really help. You can do this. I wish you the best and if you ever need some tips feel free to contact me. You are going to deal with alot of people who you because of your age and you dont deserve that! Keep that baby safe okay, and rack his *** in court he deserves it. Some men get raped and the women dont deserve what they get, it is nice to know there are women out there who are worried about the child and not just the check.

OK. I have to say a few things before I can answer your question.(Please don't take this the wrong way) #1. Work on your grammar. #2. When you post a question that is full of so many errors it is hard to understand. #3. Girls like you give young mothers the bad image they have. I had my daughter when I was 16 and I am from California. People would gawk at me because I had a child and I was very young. They looked at me that way because of the "young mothers are ignorant, stupid, whores, and bad mothers" stereotype. Please educate yourself.
Now for the answer: Obviously, he did/does not want anything to do with you or the child. I hate to say that but some people are jerks. He can sign over his legal rights and have nothing at all to do with the child but that includes child support. You can also file a restraining order against him to keep him away from both you and the child. That way he will still have to pay child support. You can find a lot of this and other information on the internet. I hope I was of some help. Good luck, be safe.

First off it is good you are taking responsibility for your actions and want to keep this baby if you are pregnant. You are able to take a pregnancy test, what happened september 11th sounds like you are pregnant because alot of women experience spotting rather then a actual period so that would be a missed period which a test works a week after that. If it comes back negative wait until I would say October 15th and take another one but a different brand. If you are pregnant I would suggest taking some classes and reading some books on pregnancy, birth and taking care of babies. I know that once you find out you are pregnant and visit a GYN they will give you some of that stuff and a video. Do not listen to anyone who says it will ruin your life, I had a baby at 17 and am now 21. I have a mitsubishi eclipse spyder convertible, am attending GED classes and will be starting college in September of next year to become a nurse.

If he pays child support, he has a right to see the baby.

State him as the father, report him for child assistance, if you need it, he will be required to pay, however, that also gives him the right to custody of the child to or at least partial visitations, that is when you must file petition to courts giving reason he is a danger to you and child.

That is something you have to prove in court. It is your word againist his. Unless you have a recording of him saying that. The judge will not keep him from his child unless proven he will harm it. The legal father has rights and as long as he fights for them it will be hard not to allow him to see the child.

Yes you can get an order of protection with both names on it but you need to get this done ASAP. You need to talk to the police, Department of Human Servces and possibley a lawyer if you can't afford one the DHS can help you. Witnesses would help but you really should report him and all his little friends. And watch your back!!!!
