The thing is that we are both pretty shy. We first saw each other where he works and totally made a connection the minute we looked at eachother! Everytime I go into where he works, we talk a little, he says something like "wow, thats a really cool shirt" and I'll say "thank you" or something else small just to TRY and get us REALLY talking, but we haven't YET to get into a real conversation because we are both just so nervous! This has been going on for about 2 months now, I don't go in there THAT often maybe ever 2 weeks, but it never fails, everytime I'm in there he so obviously nervous but we both still attempt to say SOMETHING to eachother! So, last weekend me and my mom ran into a fast food place to grab something, and low and behold, guess who was in that restaurant at the same exact time?! HIM! My mom said the only way to describe him was that he looked like he was going to "pee in his pants!" We kept shotting glances and little smiles at eachother, but thats it. So, with the suggestion of my mom, I wrote him a letter saying that "...I've never done this before... I don't know if you have a girlfriend but if you don't, here's my myspace and cell phone number so that we can talk out side" [of where he works]. I was to nervous to give it to him myself so I had my mom and little sister go buy something at the store he works at, and then give it to him, from me, as if I were at work and wasn't able to! I wasn't at work, like I said, I was just SO nervous. So, he got the letter a week ago. In your opinion, how long should it take for him to respond? We're both so shy so I don't know WHAT to do! What would you do in order to pursue someone you liked if you were both shy, and he hasn't responded to a letter? Do I give the letter more time or move on to a new strategy? Also, I'm 21, so I would need some advice on how to handle this situation other than how you would handle it in say, high school! Thanks for your opinion! Its greatly appreciated!

they broke up while in high school because he said his feeling about her had changed. Then he regretted it and begged her to come back and said it would never happen again. They married. Now he says his feeling have changed and is cold toward her. He says he doesn't want to believe this, but he can't help it. Does anyone have clinical knowledge about this. I think he is depressed and confused.

We have been in A relationship for 9 years.He said he was not happy and wanted to end it.He had someone he has been talking to for A couple of months.He came home 7 days later said he wanted to work things out.5 days after that,he said he was wrong and wanted to see the other girl but stay home for the kids.I said hell no take A hike.packed all his things .He came back 2 days later and said he broke up with her and wanted to be home with his family.He has been home sence then and has been great.Oh yea,the time he was home for 5 days he was seeing her and sleep with her.I know he is not seeing her now,but do you think he will see someone if had the oppertunity.Or is he looking for A way out.

I need help I am a Jr. Brides maid my Mom is the "Maid of Honner" And my 7 y/o sister is the flower girl. Now, heres the story. The bride (Elanie) asked her sister to be in the wedding and her sister didn't like the idea. So we are the only Bridal Party there is. Then there is Elanies 3 boys. This is the 2nd Marrige. well i went to my first parenting class on the 17th of this month. my ex boyfriend's parents are planning on taking my daughter, renee, to live with my ex's moms' other relatives and there is no judgement and there hasent been one. his mom cant really do that without the other relatives going to court. my next class is in the morning at 9:30 and my ex's parents will be there. my question is, can his mom take my daughter to live with other relatives without and judgement made? my daughter is 3 years old and she knows who her mother is. any ideas would really help or answers. thanks!!!

What do you think of girls 25-30 who are extremely picky?
I believe a lot in equality, if a girl makes a lot of money a has a very good career, then she should expect her man to have the same or more. I think the same way if a girl is really beautiful, then she should get a really handsome man as well.
But what about those girls who are not working, are not goal oriented, yet want to their "rich prince charming" to come on his own and sweep them of their feet. I'm also talking about the girl who are not pretty, yet are always trashing, and turning down very decent looking guys just because things like "he's handsome, but he's not gorgeous", I want an even taller man, he's got hairy arms, I don't like his hair.

What would you tell these girls?

We were just invited to a friends wedding. Neither I or my boy friend have seen or spoken to the groom in over a year.(We have both tried to make contact), also have never seen this bride before. My boyfriend and him were good friends in high school about 4 years ago. And I lived in a house with him and his cousin for about 5 months a year and a half ago. Is it appropriate for us to attending the actual wedding ceremony or just the reception??

Also we went to Macys to purchase a gift off of their wedding registry and it was 8 pages long! They also set up a registry at two other stores.. seems greedy to me??

Me and my ex-boyfriend are talking again working out our problems. He tells me he loves me and really wants us to be together.

Sunday my so called best friend, him, and me went to the mall. When we were in a store this girl came out of the dressing room and he told her she looked hot but told me I was cute. That kinda hurt my feelings so I walked off. I went to the food court and sat with some friends from work.

I called my so called best friend and him to tell them I was going to leave. She comes to where I am and has a bag with her. He bought her a NEW BABY PHAT OUTFIT! I was like wth because he always talks about how money is tight and his bills and blah blah blah. We date about 8 months and he NEVER bought me an outfit.

So I got mad and he didn't understand why and his excuse was he did it to make ME happy!

I'm even more mad at her because she admitted that she knew she was wrong. I told I feel really mad, betrayed and disrespected. Should I?

i'm a step mother of three kids, two boys one 13 and the other 9. the girl is 11 years old. the thing is i don't have eny kids of my own. i'm really confuesd on what to do. i feel like i can't do anything to make them mind me. no matter what i do it always makes me and my husband fight. i feel like they hate me more then eny thing. its like my husband doesn't want me to do anythiing even though he said he did. but then again action speak louder then words.
there mom acts like im always trying to take her place, which is not the case here. the oldest two are always yelling at me and there father, they yell, and scream , and the youngest one just throws a big fit, and crys and screams alot . i'm really confused i just want to be a good stepmom, i hate that stepmoms are put out to be bad and evil.

i was upset at him...it seems that his not the guy that i met before...cuz we usually talk on the phone for several hrs or we text messages....

after we spend time last saturday...he only called me once yesterday we only talk for only 2min and that was around 2pm...i know he woke up late cuz he left my house around 3am...after that he text around 8pm...well he just ask me if i ate dinner and his doing laundry...and thats about it.....

this morning he text me around 11:30am...he never does this before...well i'm assuming cuz lately we always kinda argue....now i'm guessing his friend or whom ever give him idea to give us space to avoid arguments...cuz maybe they think that we always talk on the phone and there's nothing to say so we end up arguing....

now should i ignore him for a while?? advice pls
