Make her something! A small scrapbook or a picture frame decorated in the theme of something she likes, a photo album, beaded jewelry. There are lots of things you can make yourself without a lot of money or special equipment. Just be creative. Moms love things that you put your heart into.
Make her card, too. When my Mom died, I found a box full of cards my brother and I made her when we were kids. She saved them all her life. :'-)

Really it depends on your mother - put a little bit of thought into it. If she likes to garden now is the great season to buy her bulbs - maybe a little note attached saying you'll help her plant. Or a manicure/pedicure gift certificate.

hmm go simple...take ur time to luk at flowers and the ones which remind u of ur mom u should buy b/c itz the thought that counts and den go to da mall and do the same thing...the first thing that u c that makes u laugh b/c u and ur mom made a joke of it or somethin buy that

i make my mom eggs, pancakes, etc... a full breakfast, so that she doesnt have to make it herself... and a nice card.
