My marriage is over and I've moved back home to the US.

Can I file for divorce in the US or does it have to be filed in the UK? The marriage is legal and is recognized in the US so in theory you should be able to file for divorce where it is recognized?

hi.. i want to have a simple wedding( just close famiely & friends) but the problem is i dont know anything about WDDINGS!! im a rock&roll girl.. im not into thease things.. i want ideas (music.. etc) ?? if its up to me i would play kiss:) but that is not appropriate:( but i alos want something fits my personality.. HELP!!

I have a wonderful husband, dont get me wrong. But every single weekend, his friend comes over and stays the entire time with us! note this friend has a wife at home too! They did this all the time b4 my hubby and i got married, but it's really getting to me! i never have time to spend with my husband besides the weekdays, and we both work. i have talked to him about this and he says i'm being selfish, that our guest does not affect our relationship at all. but it does. what can i do? i dont want to fight about this. but this friend drives me crazy acting like he owns the place! I'm not asking him to never come back. just dont stay over all the time. Am i being selfish? Are grown men too old for sleepovers? I wont even go into what this has done to my love life... Please help me!

Grandpa is very demanding, he wants my mom to go grocery shopping almost every day, drive him around town, etc. He will be able to drive in a month or 2, (hip surgery)He wants ONLY her to do this for him, and she has a very painful shoulder joint problem.Yesterday she told him she needed some time to herself, he got very upset and said he didint like the "things to be presented like that" He also said,"you can turn me down any time you want, just dont tell me you need time to yourself" He has been tested for Alzheimers and does not have it, but he is a little forgetful. He is going to call later today and ask her to bring him somewhere. How can she turn him down without upsetting him? SHe wants to go shopping today but does not want to bring him.Her shoulder will killing her early this morning and.Other people have offered to help out drive him but he wants only her.She says no to him when she has to, she is just looking for a new, very tactful diplomatic way to tell him no

I was away from my family working for months in late 2005 early 2006 for 10 months. (Hurricane Katrina relief) I had been married 10 years to an amazing wife and mother. I F'ed up down there and had an affair. I can't even tell myself why I did it. Just stupid and selfish. My wife has forgiven me and we now have our womnderful marriage back. She has good days and bad days and I accept that and do everything I can to make it up to her. Here is my question. She never used to drink or smoke and now she does both. She has gotten a tatoo and her nose pierced. Nothing trashy, actually very sexy. Her sex drive although it has always been strong is out of the roof. I feel like she is changing into a different person. Is this normal for what I have put her through? I know she still hurts inside and that kills me, I do not know what else to do but show her all the love I can. Is she going through a phase or have my actions changed her that much? How can I show her that I love and support her...

We do not have a problem paying the past child support, the money doesn't matter. We are concerned for his daughter. We know he is the father. The daughter is 16. Last October she ran away from mothers house...Her probation officer said that if she is found she will go to a detention center for 2 years. She is listed as a runaway...We are looking for her...last we heard from her was a little over a month ago she said she was in Washington State. Now before she ran away the mother said she wanted us to take custody of her. The mother told the probation officer that she didn't want her and that she was going to give us custody. When she ran away the mother stopped all proceedings for us to get custody of her. Can she legally go after current child support for a child that does not live in her home?

help, i need help. im 17 and just adjusting life to being around in a mised skl. Before going me and my mum were like sisters but now i cant even talk to her properly. It just seems to me that the sexual revolution has gotten out of hand. It used to be that you didn't have sex with a person unless there was an emotional attachment as well. Now it seems as though it is nothing but a cheap thrill. A party thing! What about commitment, and loving someone enough to plan a life together? my ex and i were together for 3 months, then i broke it off. he got together with this other girl, who ended up cheating on him and treating him bad, and they lasted 3 months. he started talking to me again like how he used to, and i started to really like him again. he was saying how he wish he never went with her, and he shouldve tried harder to make things work with me, and then we were supposed to get back together. but then his ex asked him back. he tried to keep both of us on hold for him but then i told him that he had to choose. and he chose her. i was hurt. how could he say all those things about how we should try again and how bad she treated him only to get back with her? even his friends came up to me to say he was dumb for doing that, and i wouldve been the better choice. but then my ex and his ex broke up. hes asking me back again saying the same things he did before. but i dont know now. i know i really wanted to before, but i cant get the fact that he chose her over me.

he still telling me that he loves me, that he didn't stop the divorce but still don't know what will be.the hope to divorce is getting smaller because he is home more then 2 months. he is telling me that still have chance our dreams to come true. Only to wait.But how long to wait. I love him and i didn't see him 2 weeks. I didn't want i told him that is better not to see me and talk to me but we talking on messenger.Telling me that he still love me, what i have from that? I'm feeling more worst.
I wrote him e-mail now. I gave him 2 solution, very soon to divorce and to be with me and second to stay at home and forget me, no talking,no meeting, nothing.
We were in very big love, those feelings never happened to me, he was calling me every day 20 times, we were meeting every day 2-3 times, we were talking of our future and children: David and Sara.
What to do?
