met this guy nearly 2 wks ago & hit it off. He contacted me & went dancing & for a drink after. That was last Wednesday..he told me he'd call me some day to cook a dinner for us. Still havn't heard from him. I know he's attracted to me..he's around my age, divorced with no kids. What's the delay? Why make this arrangement and then not follow through?

My hubby and I went out of town for the last 3 days. We have a 7 month black lab puppy and a cat, so his parents watched them for us and stayed at our house. He is an only child, so his parents insist on "doing things" around the house while they are here. His mother decided to reorganize my recently organized cabinets, all 6 of them. She put things "away" in drawers that we normally leave out. And, the one that really ticked me off, his dad searched through the house to find MY car keys to move my car so he could sweep the garage floor. They keys were well hidden in a place where we keep other personal items, if you know what I mean. I think this behavior is a bit extreme. How many of you would stay at someone's house and move their items, reorganize clean and organized cabinets and nose around to find their car keys? Opinions welcome. My house was very clean before we left for vacation. Thanks!

my husband told me that he wanted a divorce last week, then he told me that he didn't know how he felt about me. then he decided to keep me. i just got a full time job, first one in 6 months and then he was all lovey dovey towards me and now he is back to yelling and being mean and evasive with me and telling me that he is going where ever he wants when ever he wants. he also just quit two jobs in the last month and they were good jobs. mine is just a clerk at a convience store. what should i do? i really need to know. please this is sensitive to me so only serious answers. thanks

and i have a part time job. I don't have the money to be on my own. BUT my mom is making my live a living hell. This past week alone she hit my car, and then called the cops on me because i was upset my car was hit. I went to mental health and in reality she's the one that needs mental health. The cops escorted me there so i was forced to go. She has cost me money and i dont even get a apology. She mentally abuses me, calls me every name, told my boyfriend not to go out with me because i'm not good enough for him. but in reality i'm not mental, she just wants people to give her sympathy. she is manipulative, and no one sees it. i need help, i'm living in hell

I have a friend, I like her alot, but I have been feeling used by her, I thought of throwing her out of my life but deep somewhere I feel I will miss her badly if I do that.. so I came up with another thought and that is to have some space for myself.. maybe I am being too demanding and clingy on her.
I want to give her as well as myself space for some days or months I want to be without her and when I will feel getting back to her I will get back to her.

Now the problem is this friend of mine is very sensitive and take things to heart but I am going crazy by this feeling of a door mat to her.
How do I ask her to give me somedays or months to be alone without her?
I want to be her friend but at this point of time I need space.
I dont want her to hate me for this.. I want to tell this in such a way that she understands and will allow me and will take me back in her life when I come back.

If she had ask for space I would have feel very hurt, plz think and answer me. plz help me

We met each other around June ' 04, got married December '05. Ever since our honeymoon (seriously)things have been wierd. He's stressed about work, money,everything. He tells me at least once a week he couldn't live without me and would probably kill himself if he ever lost me. He asks me daily if I am happy, and the more he asks me, the more un-happy I seem to get. Last month I kissed his friend on the cheek...then about 2 weeks later I did kiss his friend - I know I am a ***** for it, it was a mistake I know, I was drunk bad excuse but I was REALLY drunk. I already know I am wrong. In a previous question I asked if I should tell him I really kissed him. He answered the question for me...last night he told me that when I kissed his buddy on the cheek (which was in a FRIENDLY way at the time) he almost beat the guy up and thought of hurting himself. So if a friendly kiss on the cheek got him thinking that, how would a drunken kiss make him fee. So I cannot tell him that. Which is,.,

I became furious with my ex when he dated someone else after I broke up with him because I wasn't sure he loved me because he was younger and didn't seem to know his own mind. I guess he did love me, as it now turns out, but he has only really been able to be clear about this after a year. I thought he was just using me as a mother. Trying to figure out what was up with him brought me so much difficulty and agony because he kept shutting down and not communicating that I feel I have no power left. We have decided to make a fresh start of sorts after seeing each other 2 weeks ago and are talking, but I still feel compelled to write him and tell him things, and he only seems to make contact about twice a week. I also just realized that the reason I have been feeling so badly about this is that I blamed him unfairly for telling me what happened with this other person; in fact, he was doing the right thing. I want to apologize, but I don't want to contribute to power imbalance. What 2 do?

I have a 36 y/o married co-worker who really likes me. I worked with him for about a yr and a half and sometime last year he told me he liked me. We then began talking more at work as friends. Then all of the sudden he didnt talk to me for about 3 months. I finally got the courage to ask him why and he told me that I really hurt his feelings because during a previous incident I yelled at him. He said not talking to me was better at the time because he was hurt. So now we are back to normal and have been for about 2 months now. He now seems to like me a lot more because he flirts more, we talk a lot more, and he recently told me he really wants to kiss me. Well last week I text him that I wanted to kiss but I was drinking that night and felt bold. I apologized the next day and told him what happened and that I shouldnt have said it. He got upset because he really wanted to and said I hurt his feelings again. My q is.. is he BSing about liking me to just get laid?

I am on the look out for a good date that will hopfully lead to a relationship. What kind of things do men want to see from a woman a part from a good sense of humour, attractive, intelligent, etc. I know that a man likes a woman who looks after herself and is headstrong and confident. right?

I'm falling for someone who is just NOT GOOD for me, he is a bad influence on me and he has views that simply clash with mine - we are almost complete opposites! Iveknown him for only a year and a half.

He's a good friend of mine despite the clashes, we have arguments ALL the time about silly things but a few serious ones too - i just think if we got into a relationship i wont be happy in the longterm with these endless bickering.

Its not just the arguments; he does things that i dont agree with and vice versa...like i said, our personalities clash - but for some reason im falling for him and he's also confessed his love for me a few months ago...i turned him down.

What should i do? I dont want to lose him as a mate but i need to get rid of this feeling as i know it will only lead me to a bad place....

My boyfriends mum works in our school office, and my mate used to turn up late everyday and ask for late slips and i used to hang with her, so his mum assumed i was bad too, this was before he asked me out. And when we started going out and i wasn't friends with that girl anymore, she told my boyfriend she would start being nicer to me! And she did, sorta!
But myself a few mates went in for him the other day, and my rebelious guy friend wrecked his house. And my boyfriend got in a loada crap! So when we went in for him today, his mum went mental at my mates for mucking up his house, and my boyfriend was in tears cause he was in so much trouble, so much so he couldn't look at me! I think she might get him to dump me cause she thinks im a bad influence cause i hang around with people that are, but im really quite and reserved not that wild! What can i do to get her to like me again?

I'm sure some of you will say i'm being unsensitive, but I'm about to blow a gasket with my mother in law. She is 81 and has lived with us the past six months. She supposedly has alzheimer's or something, which I question. There are lots of days when she is completely fine, but any time i threaten to throw her out, all the sudden she has symptoms again. Coincidental? I think not. She is lazy and talks back to me way too much to tolerate. I will not be spoken to in my own home disrespectfully by anyone. I'm considering moving out for a while to give her and my wife time to bond and to give myself a much needed break. I understand my wife wants to take care of her mom, but she is being taken advantage of, and I'm not going to suffer any longer for it. I'm going to be the bigger person and move out. Any suggestions?
