I'm falling for someone who is just NOT GOOD for me, he is a bad influence on me and he has views that simply clash with mine - we are almost complete opposites! Iveknown him for only a year and a half.
He's a good friend of mine despite the clashes, we have arguments ALL the time about silly things but a few serious ones too - i just think if we got into a relationship i wont be happy in the longterm with these endless bickering.
Its not just the arguments; he does things that i dont agree with and vice versa...like i said, our personalities clash - but for some reason im falling for him and he's also confessed his love for me a few months ago...i turned him down.
What should i do? I dont want to lose him as a mate but i need to get rid of this feeling as i know it will only lead me to a bad place....

I have seen this sort of thing before. Its the classic love between old friends. It's not necessarily a sign that you two are meant to be together, but in some cases it can be promising. What I would suggest you do for the time being, is respect the boundaries of his relationship. If they really are wrong for each other, they will see it sooner or later. Just give it time. I would say that if and when they do break up, be there to console him, and then tell him that you love him. Just tell him "(his name) i love you. I just want you to know. Love is not something that should remain secret." One thing that I have seen is that many times one or the other of two best friends is often in love with the other when its a guy and a girl. Sometimes the two of them have feelings for each other that they have kept secret for a long time. So yea, next time you two are both single you should tell him how you feel. Just make sure that if he doesn't feel the same about you that you stress that you are still fine with being friends, and that you'd rather be friends than nothing at all.

You need to figure out if you can be with him in spit of your different view. He sound like your opposite and they say opposites attract. This sometimes is a good thing you'll never be board. Look, so long as you don't lose your self or change who you are. It should work out ok. You have to learn to agree to disagree. If he has other thinks that will make you happy in your relationship. Why not try it. If he has half of the things you want in a man why not see if he's the man for you You have the first thing a good relationship needs. That is true friendship

No boy is worth having a friendship like that. He may like you but doesn't mean you have to like him if this feeling gets stronger then take a break from him or go have fun. Get him out of your mind maybe you might find a guy better for you and still keep him as your friend

hi you have answered yourself really he is not good for you and if you had a relationship with this person it will eventualy turn from love to hate and what a waste of your life that would be. Stay friends but try not to see to much of him. Find a guy who is compatible once you have your feelngs for this other guy will go.

Sounds a bit like a love hate relationship to me! Could be fireworks in the bedroom but in reality it might not work. If you really don't want to start getting attached to this guy I would start distancing yourself. x

You need to decide whether you want a relationship with this man. If you can not get along then you will probably be unhappy. You do not want to be unhappy. Maybe you should remain friends.

I wouldn't have a relationship with this guy, you already know why. I fell for the wrong person and it totally screwed my head up, we are hardly talking now. Either stay friends or stay clear, its up to u.
