My boyfriends mum works in our school office, and my mate used to turn up late everyday and ask for late slips and i used to hang with her, so his mum assumed i was bad too, this was before he asked me out. And when we started going out and i wasn't friends with that girl anymore, she told my boyfriend she would start being nicer to me! And she did, sorta!
But myself a few mates went in for him the other day, and my rebelious guy friend wrecked his house. And my boyfriend got in a loada crap! So when we went in for him today, his mum went mental at my mates for mucking up his house, and my boyfriend was in tears cause he was in so much trouble, so much so he couldn't look at me! I think she might get him to dump me cause she thinks im a bad influence cause i hang around with people that are, but im really quite and reserved not that wild! What can i do to get her to like me again?

Stop hanging out with the wrong people. If they do that sort of thing then one of these times you are going to get caught up in it. The saying goes in the wrong place at the wrong time and apparently thats the way your bf mum sees it...Bad influences are bad influences whether you follow them or not its the people looking in that see it and they can and will assume the worst...

First of all, if he's got mates like that he should get rid of right away. And it doesn't show you in a very good light if you hang about with guys that trash their so called mates houses. I think its time you grew up!

Well I know it's not technically your fault that his house got trashed but you should have known better to bring a wild friend along to his house.

Anyway, I'd get down to writing a long and sincere apology in a letter and hopefully that should do the trick.

1 dump the crap mates
2 appologise on your own to her
3 offer and follow up on helping to fix things in house
4 keep out of trouble completely
it will take a long long time to prove you are sorry and have changed, she gave you a second chance, you have now got to earn a third

get away from all your loser mates if you care that much

it sounds like he has it tough with a mother that he clearly afraid of and your not helping so stay away from those who get you and him in trouble or split up

i think she would appreciate you going to see her,, if you can. and talking with her and show her that you can be grown up. try to tell her what happened and say you are sorry. tell her that you felt you should come to see her and that you would like to put things right. she may respect you for it. without respect you have nothing!
