I am on the look out for a good date that will hopfully lead to a relationship. What kind of things do men want to see from a woman a part from a good sense of humour, attractive, intelligent, etc. I know that a man likes a woman who looks after herself and is headstrong and confident. right?
Im 27 and didnt start dating till 24. I had bad experiences with guys you'd call bad boys. Ive done some soul serching and im ready to get out there again. I need your help guys.

I look for a girl who i can talk to and who shares the same sense of humour as me (and when i say that - I mean she must think I am really funny) and as long as I'm attracted to her then I'm good to go. Just don't dress like a hooker or a grandma and make sure you keep the conversation going. Oh, and the best of luck to you - I hope you find someone great.

Historically speaking it was always supposed to be the man that was the one to approach the woman, ask her on a date, etc. This behavior has been carried over from many years ago because it WAS considered not classy, even rude. But I think that women are coming along and starting to see that it is okay to approach a man and it is okay to make the first move. As for your question, I don't believe that it is women discouraging other women from approaching men, I believe that it is societies old behaviors/opinions/traditions coming into play.

A funny, attractive, intelligent woamn that looks after herself and is headstrong and confident. That would be a dream come true. Throw in that she could be mature enough not to only like bad boys and jerks and she'd be perfect.

Be yourself. If you try to be who he wants then sooner or later your true self will come out and what will happen if he does not like that true self. You cannot be something you are not. You will never be happy, and that is more important than a 'relationship'!

just be yourself. dont let any guy rule over you. if your a genuinely nice person, then you'l attract plenty of nice guys (you may attract a few bad ones) but just dont get into anything serious until you know them well. as long as ur independent and strong within yourself you'l find a guy who loves you for you
