One thing great about a sibling is they know exactly what buttons to push to get our best (or worse) reaction. I don't know his age, but I would let him know if you able to have serious talks with him, how much this hurts you. If you can;t speak with him, how about your parents? They could set ground rules in your home against any personal slanderous remarks.
Most important to remember is he is just getting your goat and to never take these remarks seriously. Just live your best, do your best, and continually build your self esteem so you are happy with yourself. For the rest of your life you may always encounter rude and hurtful people in the workplace, school, etc. Knowing yourself and believing you are the best person you can be is your protection. Over the course of 51 years, I have learned people who mistreat other people have some major emotional problems and try to feel better about themselves by breaking down someone else! Just don't allow people to treat you this way!

Calling anyone but especially a female is about the cheapest shot there is. It is going to hurt anybody no matter how many times you hear it. If someone is fat they don't need anyone telling them and if they aren't fat they don't need anyone telling them that to undermine their self image. Ideally a parent will step in and prevent this from happening but that doesn't always happen. I hate stooping to the level of lower life forms but I do know that boys get just as angry when reference to lack of private parts is made.

Just a brother-sister thing, I guess.

My older bro has called me fat since I was 12. I don't cry or fret or do anything about it. It's his little way of showing he actually acknowledges me. I call him The Herpes King or something stupid like that.

My son is 3.5 and my daughter is two.5. while they're playing mutually and conversing to a minimum of one yet another, they continually consult from one yet another by making use of their names or nicknames. Like my son will call her Abigail, Abby, Abby doodles, Abby dabby, and so on. yet then while he's conversing to me or my husband approximately her, he refers to her as his sister. Like at present day on the sea coast: "Oh no Mommy! My sister is going for walks after the seagulls! I could desire to circulate get my sister!" My daughter is far a similar potential; continually calls him by making use of his identify together as they're partaking in together, whether refers to him as her brother to my husband and that i, as sturdy as different human beings. Like we by surprise met all human beings my husband knew from intense college on the grocery shop the alternative day, and my daughter says to him, "that's my gigantic brother." the childrens even have an older a million/2-brother (my husbands boy). he's barely with us one night time a week and then another weekend and a few weeks for holiday. So i don't assume the young human beings comprehend that he's their brother; they in any respect situations examine with him by way of his identify on a similar time fidgeting with him, yet while conversing approximately him to anybody else, they call him their pal - in spite of how many times we supply an evidence for he's their brother. they don't get how he could be a brother and not carry on with us each and every of the time.

I feel your pain, my brothers are like that also but I just laugh about it and I know that they're just teasing me because I'm not fat at all. Even if they don't show it, my brothers really care about me and I'm sure somehow in their hearts they care about you too.

Hi Shallow....Boys will be boys...lol..What is it that boys just love to make fun of their sisters'? Would you believe me if I told you, that they love you and care about you but are showing it in a different way? Boy's have a problem of saying those three magic little words "I love you" so they tease instead. It's in their nature. My brother never called me fatty but however he did call me rabbit teeth and rabbit mouth just to tease so I called him zipper or pencil neck. I knew he loved me but it was easier to make fun of me instead. Don't take it personally. They love you. Have a super one!
