I don't really like dating, but I don't hate it either. My boyfriend and ! are on these therms where we won't officially date, so we don't get tied up with presents and such. I think it's better to build a friendship first and just have fun with someone as opposed to feeling obliged to giving gifts, which is what dating does. And besides, if you took the risk ofdating the person, then you're not sure you're not going to marry them! That's called a 'One night stand'. And if the person is all lust, then it's not a boyfriend, it's a stalker creep.

yes i hate dating! it sucks. i decided it's too confusing and hard. and i suck at it. i think we should ban it haha. just kidding though because i guess that it's the only way to help you learn and build on what you want for the person you will eventually marry and all that. i definitely agree though that i wish there was an easier way. but i do think that it's better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all. the good times do overpower the bad.. and even though the Hurt makes it seem worse and a waste of time, there were still many good times with that person-which is why you dated them.. and what does not kill us makes us stronger.

it sounds like you just had a bad run in dating. For the most part it's meant to be fun and light. Just two people enjoying the others company and doing fun things.
And maybe try to spend some more time with the person before you commit to a relationship.

If you don't learn from your mistakes, you'll keep encountering the same frustrations. Maybe, figure that out in using better discretion when deciding to date someone.

I do agree with you though on the marriage thing, though. If you don't foresee them as ever being someone for the long term future, stop dating them or not at all.

No I LOVED dating.
I'm a short, fat, beautiful, Brilliant woman and I loved to just kick the guy in the nads when all he saw was a fat chick and acted like jerks!

While dating:
I was a rich, self employed, HOT, woman and he normally didn't drive a good car or own a house by 24....so It was an ego boost to shoot them out of the water.

The fun ones, we became friends and I actually found "girls" better suited for them. My prince literally watked through my front door at work one day and I knew that was it! For real!
