Tell her she is upsetting you. Honesty works wonders to change things. Do not let her pull you down.

Move your relationship to a less intrusive level.

Stop telling her details, as a first step.

Only include her with others, to avoid too much intimacy. (No long phone conversations, for example.)

Focus your time together on HER life, needs, issues, not yours. Make it seem that she's more important. Use "oh, nevermind about me, how are YOU?" a lot.

Stop sharing your dreams and desires with this person, so that she will not have the ammunition to attempt to influence your thinking.

It make take a few weeks, but this task is well worth the effort. You can always use the skill of being able to 'distance' someone when you need the emotional space.

If it doesn't work after a month or two, just stop communicating with her at all.

Erase this (person) from your memory. She has many issues herself. If she cant be a friend to you, then why try to be one for her. Since when does what one person thinks about you decide how your day will be. DO NOT EVER WORRY ABOUT HER OPINION ABOUT YOU> And guess what, I'm sure you are not the only one she berates.
