Go out!
Have fun with your friends and meet new people!
You'll soon forget about him!

There is no quick way to get over someone. All you can do is keep yourself busy and eventually as time passes things will get better. Going out and having sex with someone else is not going to help, (well maybe a little) since you are going to be wishing that they were the person that you are trying to get over. So just give it some time, it will happen before you know it.

I moved near someone I was dating. Good thing I did or I would have never known he was cheating on me. It was hard for me to live a few blocks away......

I would purposefully find another route to drive to the main road, and stay away from the store when I new he would be there with his kids. Try not to frequent places he goes or at the times you know he goes.

I had my times of thinking about him too. I was so angry at him. I saw him a few times and his kids and I even met the girl. I didn't get the closure I needed from him, so I had to stay away from him.

Another way is to hang out with your friends and family. Stay busy doing things. Go out and volunteer. When you volunteer, you are helping and putting smiles on others faces while lifting your spirit as well. You meet tons of people that way and the time melts away which is what you need to help make your heart mend.

I do not recommend going out and finding someone new as this is more of a rebound effect, although it does help, it isn't fair to that person. It is better to clear your head and heart and move on yourself before trying a new relationship. Volunteering is one of the best ways other than being with your friends and family.

Hugs to you and don't forget to pray and let God take your sorrows from you. Each day it will be better. I will say some prayers for you too. God Bless.

Really there is no fast way to get over someone, all it will really take it time. Most people will say find someeone else, find ways to keep busy and yes they all help. But you will have good days when you feel you are over them and then bad days when you all you can think about is them, etc... Really, depending how much you were in love with them, you may never get over them.
I'm still in love with a guy who broke my heart 6 years ago, we are sorta friends now which is something I suppose, but time definately has eased the pain, definately try to find someone else, and keep yourself busy, gives you something else to think about. I find when I'm alone with nothing to do, that I think about this guy and the pain comes back.
Hope this helps. All the best.

The fastest way to get over someone is realise how much they hurt you and embrace that loss. To talk to friends and be nice to yourself for about a week. Organise sob parties, watch movies eat lollies.

People say you should ignore it, but honestly that is just postponing those horrible alone parts. You need to go out just don't ignore the pain, feel it, tell everyone about it. Sob on peoples shoulders, realise what a dick they were and move on.

Don't let yourself be alone either, hang out with friends, crash at a friends house for a while, keep yourself busy. Don't let yourself wallow. Its good to be upset, just don't be sobbing by yourself.

You definitely can't just start with someone new or be dating several people that is not the way......... Believe me I tried, the best way to get over someone is to let it run its course, because if you don't you will never get over it. You will just be dealing with the situation and to be honest with you I don't know how long it will take but I do know it's the better way. Live your life and think about yourself and bettering yourself emotionally Good Luck.

Why do you want to get over it fast? If it was an important relationship, then it is only proper that you have a bit of time for reflection. You will only harm yourself more by trying to trivialize something that you considered important.

Time, get your hair done, get a sun tan, paint your nails, buy a new hot outfit ... grab a heap of your best girlfriends - and go out and party. You will get a lot of attention from others - which will make you feel good about yourself.

You go girl!

A big long holiday overseas that involves having lots of fun, the consumption of large amounts of alcohol, partying 24/7, and alot of screwing, and then waking up and having a beer and doing it all over again (and not necessarily in that order)

I highly recommend it.
