True friends are those who never let you down and are there for you (even by email) when you need them, and if they can't they look for a way to make it up to you.. They make you smile, make you cry, and make you angry when they tell you the awful truth that you don't want to hear... They save you when you need it (and when they can) and they support you, even if they sometimes don't understand you... THey let you go and crash when you're stubborn about something that's not right, but they're always there to pick you up and heal you after that crash... True friends are the most important people after your family (and in some cases after your couple)...
The best way to get one is by doing all the things above with someone that is just your plain friend.. and he/she'll do the same for you eventually.

My idea of a true friend would be someone who listens to you ,cares, love you for who you are, doesnt judge you, tells ya how it is, will be there for you no matter what. Is honset doesnt lie to you or hide things from you even if they might hurt your feelings. Would do anything for you or to help you. Someone you can trust with you deepest darkest secrets. Wouldnt talk about you behinde your back and give advice when it is needed. Someone who wouldnt screw you over. Kinda like your sista. That is my idea of a true friend.

Someone you call a ***** and replies, thank you--grabs your arm and then leads you to the cafeteria for free lunch.
The one who can point out that the dress you're wearing is three seasons late and utterly horrendous.
The one who can remind you that you have awful taste in men and the guy you're dating is a jerk and an idiot.
Moreover, she's the one who'll slap the daylights out of you and shake you out of this perpetual funk when you're down and low, wallowing in self pity, saying: "Pull yourself together, the mascara dribbling down your chin's making you look extremely fug."
She may seem brash, detached, and uncaring--but trust me, she'll be the best person you can rely on.
No pretenses, No inhibitions, No bullshit.

Finding someone that you don't have to question whether they are a true friend or not. Even in relationships whether friends, family, lovers, it's pretty easy. When you truly feel comfortable, secure, and content then you've found your answer.

My best friend, Ruzaini.
hes seen me at my best and worst. although we rarely contact each other now due to our busy schedules, he still lends a shoulder for me to lean on when im going through difficult times.
he definitely understands me better than my boyfriend and he knows what to say, how to say, and when to say things; tactful of his words so as not to offend me.
we all need someone to lean on and turn to when we're facing trouble with our relationship. this friend of mine has proven to be dependable in time of need.

It is said that "A friend is in need is a friend indeed". A friend is with whom you can share your joys and sorrows and friend is your philospher and guide a friend is... who will come to your rescue, when you are in trouble and need help and vice versa. A true friend is in whom you can confide in. It is really fortunate to get true friend in today's life.
