My brother was served with papers to go to court on May 21st, 70 miles from where we live for child support. He doesn't have a car at the moment and has to rely on other people to take him places, so isn't there anyway that he can take care of the child support closer to his home county?

Your brother will, most likely, need to hire an attorney to request a change of venue. Most likely, though, it won't happen. That will cost him money, which I assuming he does not have. The best solution is just to have someone drive him--it'll be cheaper than having an attorney draft a motion and have it heard by the judge.

Check with the court to see if it can be changed or defferred.
