Would going with a prostitute be considered cheating?

I heard something to the effect that women think of emotional involvement as more important and all the physical stuff isn't, so sex wouldn't matter without emotions so it's no big deal to have sex with a guy or guys and treat them as objects. It kind of reminded me of how women think cheating with just the heart is worse than physically cheating. I guess this probably works the other way around but I heard it in this perspective. So I posit this question: since there are no emotions involved with using prostitutes would having sex with them be considered cheating?

Chill people, this isn't my philosophy just wanted to hear what other people thought of it and insults are not acceptable.

CHEATING IS CHEATING! If you have sex with someone just to have sex, it is still considered cheating. But in my opinion if you look at a person and think about having sex with them, it is considered cheating, in my opinion. Besides, how can you have sex with a person and not have any feelings or emotions? What would be the point? Sex is SUPPOSE to be a special moment shared between two people, how can that be if a person shows no emotions whatsoever.

If you are involved with someone and you have sex with someone else, It is cheating. Period!!! Emotion has nothing to do with it!! Where did you get the idea if there was no emotion involved it would be alright? So your just looking for an excuse to cheat? Are you so desperate that you have to pay for sex? Cheating is breaking the rules. If you and your lucky honey happen to have an agreement that prostitutes are okay, then no, it's not cheating. If you have to do it behind her back or feel guilty about it, then, yes, it's cheating.

yes. its just that emotional involvement can be more hurtful to think that you have shared feelings, emotions etc with someone. i think that anything you do that you feel you have to keep secret from your partner is cheating. just some things are more hurtful than others.
