I saw a wedding band/engagement ring set that I really like - it's simple, it's inexpensive, and it's exacltly what I'd like on my finger.
He said it's "nice", but it's "cheap" and don't I want something better?
Does it really matter what the monetary worth of the ring is?

My dad has had an affair with a lady 15-17 years younger. He is 40 years old. We found out in December. He said that he loved this "lady" and didnt know what to do. He has been with her ever since and my mom has told him several times to leave her but he doesnt want to. My dad has a GAMBLING?ALCHOL problem and doesnt want to admit it to my mother. He doesn't know that his children (me and siblings) know he drinks. My mother waits for him until sometimes 4 am to come home. on a typical week he will come home past 12 am 5 days out of the seven. My six year old brother doesn't know much but can sense something. He loves my father a lot. I did also alot but he has just put me further and further away from him. My father has Came home about 4 times or so begging for forgiveness from my mom and has called that other "lady" many words mainly swearing at her. Here's the story. I have a stepson that graduated high school last year. He talked about going to a presitgious private university. We told him he needed to get his loans, financial aid, scholarships, grants all figured out before he left. He could have gone to the same calibur university here or the local community college here but he insisted on going near Chicago. My husband haphazardly told him if he insisted on this college he would have to pay for it because it's a LOT cheaper back home. He blew the loans time and time again and then came home at xmas and didn't mention anything about money. He went back to school in february and called his dad (my husband obviously) and said he needed 10,000 or they were going to kick him out of school. At this time he also said he was declined for a loan and lied about the reasoning. My husband sent him 10,000 and didn't tell me. I found a receipt on the table a month later that showed the transfer. I was upset that my husband didn't

I am a single father of 4 Children and work 2 jobs but can't seem to get caught up after my divorce. Also my mother who lives with me is disabled and I take care of her as well. Any place that I find that does offer assistance rejects me because I work 2 jobs. It seems to me that all these places would rather help someone that doesn't try to succeed in life... well I am trying and I will do it. I just could use some help to get myself ahead. do u think he will. we dated 1 1/2 years. he got me preg and dumped me hasnt been there @ all, he asked me to get an abortion. anwyas im due in august i plan on going after child support ( i dont want to but have no choice financially) what are the chances a guy liek this will go after custody? My hubby is getting more and more addicted to bad habits and is behaving like a mentally disturbed person. I have tried my level best correct him. Even my small daughter has tried..but nothing is working out. He refuses to come to the docter and if I consult the docter also he gets angry. Moreover he doesnot allow me to speak to anybody..by mistake also if he sees me smiling to anybody..he gets very angry and criticises me saying that I am trying to attract them. I am a marketing professional by work..and have earned a very good name for me in the company. Nobody suspects me..I have earned good name and also love and respect from my colleagues. But at home my life has become hell. As per Indian tradition daughters will get married and go to hubby's house. So these days I am always tensed up about my future once my daughter also goes off. My health has gone down very badly. Feel my life is over. Financially we are not at all sound....

there is this guy that works at this place i sometimes go to. the very first time i noticed him is when i looked toward him and he smiled at me. months later, i was there with a friend and while she was paying for her stuff, he was at the register and i happened to look at him and he was looking at me but when i looked toward him he quickly looked down to whatever he was doing. once when my brother was with me when i went over there and when we went to the register he kept looking at my brother. twice, i saw him outside his work with his friends and he would look at me but i would always look away. i finally introduced myself and he was nice, and he was going to say something about noticing me go in there but then he had a customer so i got my stuff he looked a little dissapointed, i told him bye and left. next time i was there, he was w/ a coworker, we talked but i wanted to talk more, even tho he was faced toward me, he looked down, i want to ask him out but don't know if i should.

I was hanging out with my boyfriend and his guy friend. We were at my house for a while, then we went to the park, and finally we went to his house. I work night shift so I can't stay with him during the night and I worked the last two nights. One night he was at the bar and I talked to him after he came home and he said he was there alone. The other night I also talked to him and he said he was there alone. (At least at the time I called) So today when I was there I saw one Marbro Light ciggerette in the ashtray. Then he has a large pillow on his couch where he sleeps at night and I noticed it was a different pillow then what he usually lays on. I said what happened to the blue pillow? He said I washed it and it was too dry to dry in the dryer so it's laying over there to dry. I asked what happened to the pillow that it needed to be washed, and went on to say did you throw up on it, ect. His friend asked if he c*mmed on it. Then we went to leave and my boyfriend was laughing.

Our wedding isn't for another year, 3 months and 4 days (who's counting though? Lol) but my fiance brought up the idea that he would like him, his best man & groomsman to wear shorts at our wedding. The shorts will be as formal as possible and they will also be wearing tuxedo jackets, tails and all. I am on the wall about this because since our wedding will be in July I want them to be as comfortable as possible BUT at the same time I just don't know how it would look in our photos. We had friends who had an outdoor wedding in July 2006 and their grooms men (which included my fiance) where in full black suits and it was almost 30 degrees out! We are also planning on having an outdoor wedding and I do not want my guy and his friends to suffer. I know lots of women feel that this is THEIR day so they should be able to make 99.9% of the decisions but to me this will be OUR day so I want both of us to make the decisions together. Any suggestions???

i have been married to my indian husband for 4 years now and we have a 2 yr old and another on the way,to cut a long story short we moved interstate away from my family and everything for his work promotion,he is controlling everything like
1)how much the phone bill should be,and the amount of times i call my relatives.(he suggests once a fortnight for 20 mins)
2)how much money is kept on my side of the joint account
3)what i buy for my daughter(it has to be absolutly needed otherwise it's a waste of money)
4)where we live
just basically everything he controls i don't really get much say at all,and he seems to think that because i didn't go all the way through school that im uneducated and dumb(im not at all)and he can make all the important decisions and i have to just shut my mouth and go along with it,he is also extremly money hungry,to him money comes first and everything else comes next,we have a new mortgage just a few months back,now he wants to take out a second buisiness

During that time we broke up for 6 months and I dated another guy for 3 months I call him Jim When I broke up with Jim things were fine and we agreed to stay freinds,He became best freinds with my first boyfreind Bob, Me and Bob got back together for 8 months and I got sick of Bobs crap so I broke up with him and agreed to stay freinds.I decided that I wanted to make new freinds so I started hanging out in another town About ten miles away.Its a town with lots of clubs and bars.Well in the last week Ive seen Bob three times in my club that I hang out in.So I told Bob look I kind of like a guy here ,dont get upset over it.So he says thats fine he met a girl too that he likes in a town about 60 miles away.So saturday night he tells me hes going with Jim to the big city about 80 miles away.Well Im at the club on saturday talking to this guy and both my exes walk in.Why?I go say hi and they give me a lecture on safety.I went home alone!cramp my style!Its hard to meet anyone like this!

im currently pregnant with my bf of 3 years second child. yet i feel as though averything is crap sometimes. i feel like i dont get enough affection and this makes me feel kinda unfulfilled. ive tried talking to him about it but it mostly irritates him. he says he loves me but i still feel as though he doesnt. i personally do not know my father and i want my 2 children to have their father like i never did. most of the time he doesnt even give me a hug or a kiss when he comes home from work. and all he does is watch movies after work...which...is pretty sucky to me. we never do things on our own without the baby. someone else always has to be involved in some way or another. im pretty emotional and it seems like hes always irritated at me even if i ask him a simple question. ive been depressed most of my life but there always seems to be something wronge in some way and it doesnt help that im self contious most of the time. my minds always working and worrying and never stops

My daughter wanted me to see this old house she was thinking about buying and I could sence two people used to live there one big heavy set man and a older woman. The man was bad tempered. The woman was a worrier. I told my daughter about it and a little bit later a guy told her he new a man that used to live there and he ws a big man. I was freeked out. Some times when I dream my grandma comes and talkes to me. Once I gave her a kiss on the cheek and when she left I opened my eyes and licked my lips and I could tast salt on my lips. The first time I saw my grandma was when I had emergency surgery and the couldnt revive me. I always have been able to fink things others lost. I also look into peoples eyes and I can like read their soul. If they are good or bad or if they lie. I don't know what to think of it all. I also don't want people around me to know because they would think I am crazy heck maybe I am.

Generally speaking, we have/had a good relationship. The main problem is we seem to argue over small things. Not money etc. just small meaningless things, it's stupid really but, it has taken it's toll on us. (She says that I was the best boyfriend she has ever had and she can see us spending the rest of our lives together and having kids.) She calls me everyday and we both end up upset and saying how much we love and miss each other. The problem is she doesn't know how to stop the bickering and wants to see if being apart will make us realize how important we are to each other. Last week we only talked on the phone and that didn't work for her because we would talk for hours, now this week we can only e-mail each other. We have been dating 14 months. I am frustrated with the situation. Am I right to feel frustrated? What should I do? Help!

my question is well it's about this guy that i knew from my high school & he was in my class and well he was in asshole. anyways one of my friends thought he was actually his best friend but i tried to tell him he really was'nt. like i dont recall him helping my friend out or doing any thing for him. my friend told me he did'nt think he was his friend. but he still talked to him and like he was on his myspace and the guy the asshole talked to him once and no more and my friend talked to him 2 times and that's it. i went to his page and noticed he deleted my friend and this other guy that was cool with him he told me he stopped talking to him. and also this is one of my other friends but his sign is a cancer he talked about him behind his back with his sister. you know that show's you that some people are messy and are fake. and on his myspace he got all these cool people but like on his top friends there like his wanna be ghetto friends one of my female friends said he's full of ****.
