I got into a car accident, my fault.

I ran a red light at a "T" crossing and someone hit me from the side. My car's rear, driver's side wheel is now damaged. It's off the rim and there is huge dent on the rear passenger side where he hit me. His car's bumper came off, cracked in two. My car got towed away and he drove off in his. Everyone is ok.

I've just filed a claims report and I'm wondering what I should expect from this accident. This is my first accident and I'm kinda worried because I don't know if the other party will do anything like ask my to pay or something??

Just about 2 months ago I turned 18, but I still don't drive. Many people find it pathetic and sad. I've been working for about two years but I'm almost broke. I want to be able to drive my self around with out having others drive me around. Whats the best way to save up money if your my age?

I need a new compressor. It will primarily be running a paint gun that operates around 5 CFM. If I buy a compressor at 6-7 CFM, will that be enough ? Will a 26-30 gallon tank be enough, or does only the CFM come into play ?

I have a 94 Corsica which I was told that the intake gasket might be leaking, I would like to know for sure prior to getting it changed, but dont wanna pay the extra out to the garage or mechanic...is there a way to tell with out going to a garage.

A friend of mine has a car that is leaking antifreeze/coolant. He stopped to buy antifreeze at a gas station last night and was appalled to find that it cost $12.50 a bottle. He bought a bottle of windshield wiper fluid instead. He hasn't used the wiper fluid yet but that seems like a very bad idea to me!!! Is it safe to use wiper fluid as antifreeze?

Are there cheaper alternatives to antifreeze? Since the car is leaking so much, I also worry about animals licking it up.

FYI It's an old car with a lot of problems. He plans to replace it in the next few weeks, if it lasts that long.

my 92' ranger will only go into gear when truck is off, i can start it in gear and drive like that but when i put the clutch in to change gear it is stuck in first until i shut it off and start it in another gear. what does this mean?

I've already replaced the fuel pump and the fuel filter. I think it might be the fuel pressure regulator. But after i start going for a minute my car is perfectly fine.
