Hey new Hummer owners! I just got a new Hummer H2 for Christmas (they had an incredible zero down financing deal!) While driving home, I was stopped at a stop light listening to the new Britney Spears album and some guy shouted “Hey A$$hole! Nice car! You must have SP Syndrome to drive a car like that!” I realize the guy is just jealous of my new Humvie (and I cut off his tiny little Honda Civic a few minutes earlier, damn Jap junk! I only buy USA!) but I don’t know what SP Syndrome is. Does anyone know what SPS is?

have a 1999 oldmobile cutlass and the theft light has been coming on and the car wont start till the theft light goes off and the theft light seems to be coming on more and more and more, anty ideas on how I can get rid of this problem

The past few days I've had every neighbor and friend I can think of look at my car, trying anything to save me from an inflated mechanic bill. This is my last hope.

I can't figure out whether I just have a bad battery or my alternator is dead/dying. When I open the door to my car, the lights do come on, but as soon as I turn the key it just dies. Sometimes I heard some weird clicking noises. I have managed to jump it a few times to get it where I was going, but as soon as I turned the car off it was dead again. The last time it went dead it was still running, but someone was testing the battery so I'm not sure if that had anything to do with it. I was told it was the alternator, but then how was I able to get home. Can the alternater gradually die out? What should I do?

a 1990 gmc suburban could i just take a 4x4 parts truck and just place the trans and drivetrain then i just buy the other stuff pertaining to the suspension and wheels new? i know a mechanic that can do it but does it seem exspensive? i always wanted a 4x4 suburban and this fits the requirements of the suburban except its 2wd. thanks in advance.

I have overfilled my antifreeze tank by a couple of inches? is it safe to drive the car? will it burst the lid and everything empty? Also if i were to drain it how would i do it? would i drain it all or just the amount that is past the recommended mark? Please only provide serious answers. I have a 93 olds cutlass supreme and the front end is waaay out of alignment. Whenever I got it it was fine but I drove it to Kentucky and on the same trip blew out the back struts and one of the tires tread came off and it swelled up really bad and I drove it for 150 miles like that. Anyways I wanna get it realigned now and I'm gonna do it after I get the new struts this weekend, but I need to know if it matters if I buy new tires before or after getting it aligned. I don't see how it would make any difference but I want to make sure. I'm gonna have all 4 replaced but I want to wait till after I get it realigned. Would it make any difference?

When I turn on my Envoy ( morning or evening , they are the same ) the headlights working automaticlly . How I can switch off this function ?? my envoy is SLE , and only SLT you can switch off this function in Information center .

I have a 2005 GMC Sierra. My ABS light has been on for several days. I took it to the dealer and they said it will be $150 just to diagnose the problem, thats just to figure out the problem thats not to fix it. On top of that I will need to pay to fix it (weather its big or small). Still, I dont want to pay this much. I have checked the brake fluid level of the master cylinder, and thats ok. Next I am going to check the four sensors. I was wondering other than checking the sensors what else can I look for? Is there some sort of diagnostic tool I can buy to help figure this out and do it myself? What else can I check.??? By the way my brakes feel fine, I just want the light off! Thanks

How do you determine what it is? Is there a way of testing the sensors? Would reading the codes tell you? Could water getting in the electrical connections to the speed sensors cause this. It seems to have started after my son got an under carriage wash last week.

Can anyone help me figure out what happened? I was driving my truck and it just died like it was out of gas..It had gas and I put in more and primed the carburator..it started for 1 second and then died. There was no warning that pump or filter was about to go. It had been running fine. it has 4.3 fuel injection engine. I cannot afford it if it is going to be something high priced to fix it. so I would like to know before I take it to the mechanic..Any help will be appreciated.
