Hey new Hummer owners! I just got a new Hummer H2 for Christmas (they had an incredible zero down financing deal!) While driving home, I was stopped at a stop light listening to the new Britney Spears album and some guy shouted “Hey A$$hole! Nice car! You must have SP Syndrome to drive a car like that!” I realize the guy is just jealous of my new Humvie (and I cut off his tiny little Honda Civic a few minutes earlier, damn Jap junk! I only buy USA!) but I don’t know what SP Syndrome is. Does anyone know what SPS is?

My friend Drew claims to have CFS - confined farting syndrome. Whenever he gets in a confined space - car, elevator, packed concert hall, etc., he gets excessive and debilitating gas. Maybe SP syndrome is something like that.

Stupid Person Syndrome. Go buy a real offroad vehicle a Jeep. H2/H3 HUMMERS are just Chevy Tahoe's with a different body kit. They're pieces of crap, are useless offroad due to their size and weight. Your SUV isn't a HUMVEE either, like I said its a Tahoe. And your H2 isn't built in the US either its built in Mexico with parts from Japan, China, and Mexico.
Anyhow, why a hummer? I can't see a good use for one, can't haul anything with it even with the model that has the small bed in it. A jeep is more capable offroad, and can tow the same weight if not more depending on the hitch installed.
Anyhow you purchased the vehicle, so what matters what other's think. I used to like the original HUMVEE (H1) until I joined the military and had to drive them all the time. You quickly realize how dull, and useless they are, not to mention gas hogs, and unreliable especially the diesel models.
