general motors holden made many vl commodores but how many 1988 200series where actually made as it is not an easy car to find information on.

I have replaced the fuel filter, the throttle positioning sensor, cleaned the injectors, and also replaced the oxygen sensor. I dont know where to look next.

Usually It idles ok, but when you accelerate it hesitates before speeding up. When you get about 45 or 50 it runs pretty well, but between 30 and 45 its a little rough.

hi guys thanks for looking, ok when i just tap my gas pedal just a lil tap the rmp goes up to 2 sits there for about 4 seconds then idles back down to 1, and when your driving and coming to a stop the car doesnt idle down to 1 until after it sits idleing high at 1 1/2 for about 4 seconds then it drops down to 1, what could be making the car take so long to idle down to normal, its almost like its sticking, the throttle returns all the way but it wants to hoover at the 1 1/2 mark befor returning to normal idle at 1, oh and when i shift gears my engine jerks real bad if i dont let the rmps drop down to 1

I own a 2006 GMC sierra and know of two other people who have told me about recalls on the 16" ameritrac tires that came standard. Can anyone give me additional info? I can't find anything on the net or anywhere. Thanks.

I bought a 97' Cadillac Catera and seems like i have a heating problem. i took it to a mechanic and they told me it could be the Head gasket. I look for some signs of bad head gasket and I think i saw some white smoke out of exhaust but only for couple secs..

Should I just go with a GMC plug made specifically for my truck or are there better performing plugs out there that I could use? Need to add that I have an extended warranty from AAA and wonder if using anything other that GM plugs would void the warranty if something happened. Thanks in advance.

i have the door apart somewhat. there is a rod that runs from the interior door handle to the exterior one. i cant see how it hooks up inside the door to the exterior one. any help would be appreciated. any resources will work.

I have a 2004 GMC 1500 PU. It is an automatic and seems to make a very slight"clunk" when it shifts from its first to second gear. It is very minor . It just seems not to be "smooth" All other gears seem fine and there is no slipping. Is this common?

I have this truck that I love but it runs terribly! It has a 305 in it now and I have read that it is suppose to have a 350. Can I drop a 350 motor in it that DOESN'T have TBI, I think it would help it run but any suggestions would be great! Thanks in advance!
